INTRO TO SNOW This package is all about making learning to ski or ride fun and easy and is your best pathway from ‘no snow’ to snow pro’! As it includes everything you need for a 3 day ski/board experience meaning no need to book individual components. SIGHTSEEING Whakapapa: Ride the brand new Sky Waka gondola at Whakapapa to 2,020m above sea level. TRANSFERS If staying at National Park or Whakapapa Village, there is a daily shuttle service to/from Whakapapa Ski Area. Tickets are available for a small fee from the ticket machines at the bus stations. If staying at Ohakune, the shuttle will take you to Turoa Ski Area for a small fee. Tickets must be purchased from the ticket machines located at the bus stops. If staying in Taupo or Turangi, a daily shuttle will take you to Whakapapa Ski Area. Bookings are essential and tickets can be prepurchased and confirmed upon arrival.
