Let’s take a look back at some of the summer fun that was had and what’s ahead in the coming months. We rang in the new year by greeting over 1,200 new residents to The Grove. It’s very exciting to see our community grow and to welcome more families to their homes by the river. Not only did we welcome new families, but the highly anticipated footbridge over Davis Creek is also a much-welcomed sight for all residents. Pedestrian access from The Grove into the wider Tarneit community is now a whole lot easier, thanks to our newly completed walkway. Community improvements don’t stop there. Construction of the Community Activity Centre, delivered by Wyndham City Council, is well and truly underway. Plus, construction of the stage 32 park is progressing well with completion due in the coming months. All these stories and more inside this summer wrap up issue. As always, if there is anything you’d like to see covered in the future or have an idea for a story please get in touch. Otherwise, grab a drink, a comfy spot on the couch and catch up on the latest with The Grove Community News. Enjoy.

What’s on Wynner Wynner Getting around the west is about to become a lot easier with the addition of WYNBUS at The Grove. The Grove is partnering with Wyndham Vale’s own WYNBUS mobile ride share system. WYNBUS will provide residents of our community an alternate solution to public transport. The on-demand shuttle service will be trialled in the greater Tarneit area to bring more accessible transport options to the people of Wyndham Vale. In the meantime, to help us learn more about how to best offer transport solutions to our community, we would love to get your feedback on how useful WYNBUS would be to your neighbourhood. Click here to fill out a quick survey and share your thoughts to help plan the WYNBUS service for The Grove.

Hop on the bus. You never know who you might meet!

Celebrating International Women’s Day We would like to acknowledge all the amazing women throughout The Grove community and right across the world. At The Grove, we celebrated International Women’s Day by taking part in a high tea event for the community organised by the Little Growling Café. We’d like to thank special guests, Gabrielle Williams, Hon. Minister for Women and Sarah Connolly, Member for Tarneit, for attending. It was particularly inspiring to applaud the tremendous efforts of women in leadership positions and work towards equal opportunity for all girls and women.

Delicious. What a treat it was to enjoy this tasty morning tea.

Very special visitor at the Little Growling Café this Easter The Little Growling Café is hosting a special Easter activity for all. An excellent day to celebrate all the wonderful women in our lives.

Updates Davis Road Footbridge

Hogans Road Bridge

The recent opening of the Davis Road Footbridge has made pedestrian access from The Grove into the wider Tarneit Community a lot easier.

Please be aware that Hogans Road will be closed for a period of time.

The footbridge crosses Davis Creek at Cuttlefish Circuit and connects with the shared path adjacent to Wootten Road Reserve. We have always been committed to building a community that is pedestrian friendly. The addition of this footbridge means residents can now easily access the two neighbouring sporting ovals and tennis courts without needing to go via Hogans Road. Go for a walk or ride and check it out for yourself.

As we commence work on the Hogans Road Bridge, traffic will be diverted to Bethany Road during this time. We thank everyone for their patience while works are underway. Once completed, residents will no longer have to compete with traffic and crossing Hogans Road will be much easier for all.

The Davis Road footbridge is now connecting residents to Tarneit.
