Support for hospital’s x-ray vision FRANKSTON Hospital will get a new x-ray machine after a promise of more money from the state government. The machine is paid for under a grant from the Medical Equipment Replacement Program and Engineering Infrastructure program. Premier Daniel Andrews and health minister Jenny Mikakos visited the hospital alongside Frankston MP Paul Edbrooke to announce the grant. “Doctors and nurses at Frankston Hospital do an amazing job providing the very best
care for patients. We’re supporting them with the cutting edge equipment they need to save lives,” Mr Edbrooke said. “New state of the art equipment and better hospital infrastructure will make sure more Victorians can get the world class care they need, when they need it, closer to home. The new x-ray machine will provide improved image quality and diagnostics capability, provide OH and S benefits through ergonomic design, and reduce radiation dose for patients in Frankston.”
