Dear Sr/Madam.

I am a graduate architect, writing to express my interest to apply to a position in your office.

I have studied architecture in Argentina, where the technical as well as the creative aspects are emphasized.

I have worked in my own offices in Argentina, doing preliminary and complete projects, construction details, specifications, building systems design, competitions, and interior design projects.

I am an architect with a wide experience in the field and have recently completed my fifth year as partner in Carbone Fernandez Architects where I have won some awards and I think it’s time to grow up and start working in bigger projects.

I just recently have finished my fourth year working as professor in the Buenos Aires University where I have won some awards too and were I am still working.

As regards personal qualities, I should like to point out my ability to become a part of a team and my attention to detail in the architecture that I create.

Furthermore, I value my capacity to stay calm within an environment which has deadlines to work with.

I would like to thank you in advance for considering this application and suggest the possibility of us meeting in an interview to explain any further details you may like to know about my work experience.

I enclose my resume and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely.

Brief / Academic Portfolio FADU - UBA - TSLS A4 / Fourth Year BArch. Degree. Research: Develop of a 250 meters high mixed use building. While solving the object is complex, the objective is simple and contains lots contradictions. By contrast, the decision to give the object a cultural significance that enriches the city is simple, but the purpose is complex and full of ambiguities. Morphology is a result of the structural resolution, the impact of gravity, the proportions and relationships, density and graphic representation are just some of the points to consider. The problem is approached from the perception and the urban landscape. The projects shown are developed by the students of TSLS A4 - UBA, betwen 2013/2014. Award: HONORABLE MENTION for the Book 60 Skycrappers.

FADU - UBA - TSLS A4 / Four Year BArch. Degree. Design an architecture project with urban identity. Research: The city of Buenos Aires is formed by a complex network of streets, avenues, public spaces and buildings. By definition, the city is not uniform or homogeneous, In some areas, the city has many different shapes that make up its identity. This exercise is designed to re-think the blocks the conformation of new urbanities and to understand the complexity that requires the architectural object itself. Certainly the contribution that this could make in social and cultural terms should affect it's own conception. A medium-sized project that generates a morphological contribution to the city and simultaneously solve a complex specific program. Rethinking current ways of live, work and which in turn provides new urban solutions are some of the problems that students need to meet. The projects shown are developed by the students of TSLS A4 - UBA, between 2013/2014.
