La Malagueta beach Málaga enjoyed by all ages. Highlights the ride Street Redding. The first invasion of mechanical vehicles suffered by the territory that caused certain changes in morphology resulted suburban train from Málaga to Vélez-­‐Málaga. Malagueta 1920 The families approached to buy with good prices the fish recently won from the sea. The Cenachero was then the figure more popular than Malaga’s wineries, espadrilles, salted fish and taverns. All institutions and businesses in the neighborhood of the first years of the 20th century were famous baths of Apolo and Star. They were like big wooden ships raised one quiet and calm sea water. Until fifties , beaches belonged to the sailors. During these years fishermen wifes offered swimming customes to the boys. Malaga is one of the most tourist cities of Spain, so its leisure is one of largest and most diverse in the country. We can find bars, pubs, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, theatres, museums, etc ....

Both day and night is one of the best atmospheres. CASA ARANDA Is one of the best known for serving the best “churros” world. CAFE CENTRAL Is one of the most famous because it can take coffee in 10 different shapes.

Pier one offers one of the best panoramic of the monumental area of Malaga. Located next to the port of Malaga, this open mall is home to a wide range of shops and restaurants, an ideal place to go shopping and try the Malaga cuisine in a privileged setting with views of the sea. Since its opening in late 2011, Pier one has also become an essential part of the cultural life of the city. Markets of crafts, exhibitions, concerts, open-­‐cinema: the diversity of activities that hosts this space has placed it as one of the most important leisure centres in Malaga. Pier one ends in 'the street', that stands 38 metres above the sea and Lighthouse which light reaches the 25 miles.

Pier one directory. “EL PIMPI” For many people it is the most famous winery and restaurant of the city of Málaga. It was founded in 1971 The Pimpi is located in a former mansion of the eighteenth century Malaga and is one of the most traditional wineries in Malaga. In these wineries you can enjoy the best wines and excellent cuisine. Its name refers to the figure of "Pimpi" a popular character Malaga helping crews and passengers of vessels arriving in the port city. Today it is a meeting point for celebrities, locals and visitors. It is located in a privileged environment surrounded by some of the most important historical monuments and cultural sites of our city: Alcazaba, Roman Theatre, Picasso Museum, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Plaza de la Merced ...

Is in the Plaza Del Obispo, opposite the Cathedral Malaga. It has the best terrace to eat or drink Cocktails. There you can have breakfast Cheers or eating typical American food. Cheers Malaga there is different events and nights Musical themes: the best of Flemish; the biggest hits of pop-­‐rock English, etc. VELVET CLUB Located on Comedias Street 15, VELVET CLUB is the best independent living centre of Malaga. Its privileged location between Larios Street, the Picasso Museum and the Thyssen Museum, VELVET CLUB makes it the perfect place to enjoy the night in one of the most fun cities in Europe instead.

INLETS There are various preparations with vegetables, including salads being the more traditional all Malaga salad, based on potatoes, capsicum, tomato, boiled eggs, oranges and codfish, all this washed down with olive oil.

MAIN DISH We also have cold soups being the most well-­‐known, white garlic with olive oil, garlic and almonds, and the gazpacho andaluz based of vegetables. Among the soups warm the in white fish, broth with white fish, and the gazpachuelo, a similar fish soup to the blank reduced with mayonnaise.

FISH To say about the fish section, is a coastal town where the products are completely fresh and where has more variety than any other type of dishes. On the coast of Malaga you can enjoy dishes of Malaga frying. We can therefore meet varied seafood cooked fried or cooked, as the boquerones fritos or en vinagre, and the famous espetos de sardinas eaten beach. It's the way most typical eating sardines!

Malaga’s central-­‐market-­‐Atarazanas is a buzz of activity and most definitely worth a visit. It situated right in the heart of Málaga. The name Atarazanas came from Moorish-­‐times, and when translated literally from de Arabic means “a place where ships are repaired”. Most of Malaga was underwater during the Moorish rule and the Atarazanas was right at seas edge. It was declared a monumental of historical and artistic in 1978. Recommended Tapas: Fried fish or grille, anchovies, grilled hake with olive oil, prawns and octopus, tomato salad with anchovies.

TABERNA UVEDOBLE

This bar is often referred by Spanish food critics as being one of a new Generation of gastro bars or gastro tapas. Clean, light and modern and very small. The most especial Tapas: Tataki of tuna with porra Antequerana, tuna fish with garlic a tomato sauce. Russian salad with prawns, cod with potatoes, garlic mayonnaise and red peppers salad.

The Pimpi is located in a former mansion of the eighteenth century. The Pimpi is in Malaga an institution. Is one of the most traditional wineries in Málaga. The pimpi is one of the most visited by tourist its local food and wines. It’s a nice place for its atmosphere, its history and its setting. The bar has a terrace from which you can see The Alcazaba and the theatre. At night the views are incredible. It’s the most crowded bar every night of the year. The best tapas are: Salads, cheeses and ham, toasts and molletitos, mini sandwiches, cod, salmorejo, eggplants with honey, goats cheese with sweet onion.

CORTIJO DE PEPE

The best restaurant in traditional Andalusian food, is situated right on Plaza de la Merced, and is the favorite local. It’s a single bar, with much variety of tapas and wines. This bar serves the most exceptional tapas at very cheap. The best tapas are: red pepper, beans with ham, loin montadito , fried fish, various salads. This bar has the best selection of cheeses and Iberian Hams, and wines.

EL TAPEO DE CERVANTES

It’s the best bar, near theatre. One of Malaga’s most popular tapas bars is also the smallest bars tapas, with space for just 28 people. The wait is worth it because the food is excellent. The best tapas are: Iberian pork and manchego cheese, chicken, croquets with pineapple, marmalade, Porra Antequerana. Toast anchovy,

sardine and salmon sandwiches, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and spinach. Finally you can end the night with a good coffee in one of the best cafes of Malaga. The best known are the Madrid café or central cafe. You can drink different types of coffee.

Visiting a market is the best idea to know the everyday life of a city. You can find all kinds of gastronomic products, vegetable, fish or meat. The best is the atmosphere, with vendors shouting their products and customers moving from side to side. Malaga has 15 municipal markets distributed among the ten districts of the town and 693 posts. The best management model of markets it's managet by the city council. The lighting and cleanliness are the aspects most valued in the inner conservation of markets. Atarazanas ,Bailen and Huelin are those with more posts. The "Atarazanas" market is must see; flavors colors and merchandise for everyone. A market with Malaga's flavor. The most striking facades are at Atarazanas and Salamanca markets both in the downtown district. Salamanca market is the most preserves the flavor of the era in which it was built. El Palo market you can get the best deals in frozen fish.

Huelin market is the cheapest place to buy vegetables fruits and meats. El Carmen market is one of the most emblematic places of El Perchel, oldest fishing district of Málaga.

OBISPO SQUARE La Plaza del Obispo is located in the ciudadandaluza Malaga, Spain. It is located opposite the main facade of the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Malaga and Malaga Palacio Episcopal, at the confluence of the streets and Salinas Molina Lario

Historical Centre of District 1. The origin of this square is possibly back to the Muslim era, but it acquired its appearance with the completion of the main facade of the Cathedral and the Episcopal Palace in the eighteenth century. In the last decade of the twentieth century, the square was renovated and some of its renovated buildings, replacing old buildings DEDIEGO Clavero and Jerome Cuervo. The work allowed the wine remains of the late Roman and Byzantine antigua muralla.

MARINA SQUARE The square began tearing down the nazaries walls, in the middle of the XIX century. It,s the most changes has been to discover the port wall. It,s located in one of the most important points in the city of Malaga, between Alameda Principal and Paseo del Parque. Historic center, near the busiest streets as Molina Larios and near the Port of Malaga. Currently, Cenachero Sculpture is found here, one of the most typical in the city, it,s found also the Interactive Museum of Music. It,s the most visited by young fans to skate. And it,s one of the Semana Santa Malagueña.

AURORA'S SQUARE This square is located in the neighborhood of the Trinity, between the "Aurora's ramp", one of the busiest and best known streets in the Malaga Holy Week, and Feijoo Street. Next to this square we find the chapel of Maria Aurora. This chapel is the oldest in the city and although the chapel dating from the eighteenth century was subsequently restored in 1941 by the diocesan architect Enrique Atencio. In addition to the convent uses, this building housed the School of Social Work and after rehabilitation in 2008, houses the School of Architecture of Malaga. Very close to this square we find the building of the Trinitarian Peña (current headquarters of the Peña Flamenca Juan Breva). This peña is the most famous in the neighborhood of the Trinity to belong to associations and organizations of Flamenco field.

VICTORIA SQUARE-­‐(PLAZA DE LA VICTORIA)

Victoria square is one of the oldest squares of de centre town of Malaga, It’s located between La Victoria and Cristo de la Epidemia neighbourhoods.

This square is called The Monkeys’ garden too, because long time ago there was a cage with monkeys, one of the monkeys was called “Perico” and it was one of the most typical thing.

There are Canaries palms, rosebushes and bitter orange trees, near of this square there are San Lorenzo church and the oldest sanctuary of Malaga, La Victoria Sanctuary.

After christian conquest was named marquet square ,later Riego square. Builds near square are a XVIII century, northeast there is a church and merced monastery in this place number 12 born distinguished painter Pablo Picasso. Also the writer Juan Jose Relosillas and architect Jerónimo Cuervo. Actually this is the most visited place for tourist in Málaga .

The most interesting museum that helps to make Málaga a great destination for cultural tourism. Here we see three museums:

MUSEO PICASSO MÁLAGA It´s one of the two Pictures Gallery situated in his home-­‐town Málaga, next to Picasso Museum Casa Natal.

Picasso museum Málaga was created in response to Pablo Picasso own desire for is work to be present in the city where he was born on 25 October 1881. The museum was created thanks to Christine and Bernard Ruiz-­‐Picasso, the artist´s daughter-­‐in-­‐law and grandson. Whose donations constitute the core of the collection. There are 233 works in the MPM collection, 43 further works by Pablo Picasso are on temporary loan, through a fifteen-­‐year agreement with the Almine foundation and Bernard Ruiz-­‐Picasso for art (FABA). It´s the most important museum of Málaga, located in the Buenavista Palace, San Agustin Str.8. Was inaugurated on 27 October 2003.The MPM it´s the most central of the town and the most visited by the public and the most famous for their collection´s, temporary exhibition and a lot of activities.

MUSEO AUTOMOVILISTICO DE MÁLAGA The Tabacalera spectacular building, a former tobacco factory in 1923 appears to have been made as to receive and evaluate this set of over 94 vehicles unpublished works of contemporary art, sculptures and installations designed from parts of the motor world. The most fantastic combination of history, art and culture. The most extraordinary collection´s presented in thematic areas: Belle Epoque, The Golden 20s, Art Deco and Popular Cars. That describes the different styles that characterize the evolution of twenty-­‐century art. Wide variety of models representing major brands: Hispano-­‐Suiza, Bugatti, Rolls-­‐ Royce, Bentley, Delage Packard, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, etc.

The Music Museum is placed in Beatas Street from Málaga. The Music Museum is the smallest Museum in Málaga. You can see a lot of instruments, ancient and modern.It is the cheapest. It cost only 3 or 4 €. It is interactive museum because you can play different musical instrument, for example guitar, violin, chelo, piano, etc…

It is the most technological museum, because you have a magnetic bracelet that you put on computer and you can watch personalized information. The Museum has a Roman wall; it is the most ancient the city.
