Is God Calling You? “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. (Jeremiah 29:11) There are times in our lives when we are facing painful and impossible situations. No one is immune to pain and suffering and no one goes through life problem-free. When we’re in pain, hope for a better outcome can seem miles away. Our vision is cloudy and our hearts are heavy. As a Stephen Minister I learned how to use the pain from my own life experiences to be more understanding, to be a much better listener and to be empathetic for the care receivers in my life.
