Wine Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes or other fruits. The natural chemical balance of grapes lets them ferment without the addition of sugars, acids, enzymes, water, or other nutrients. Yeast consumes the sugars in the grapes and converts them into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Different varieties of grapes and strains of yeasts produce different styles of wine. The well-known variations result from the very complex interactions between the biochemical development of the fruit, reactions involved in fermentation, terroir and subsequent appellation, along with human intervention in the overall process. The final product may contain tens of thousands of chemical compounds in amounts varying from a few percent to a few parts per billion.

Champagne Champagne is a sparkling wine produced from grapes grown in the Champagne region of France following rules that demand secondary fermentation of the wine in the bottle to create carbonation. Some use the term champagne as a generic term for sparkling wine, but the majority of countries reserve the term exclusively for sparkling wines that come from Champagne and are produced under the rules of the appellation.

Joseph Perrier has always been connected with history, on occasions which have been both high profile and private. The House has always celebrated human achievements, from the inauguration of Concorde in 1976 and more recently the presentation of the Nobel prize for medicine. The «Cuvées Royales» celebrate the relationship with Queen Victoria and King Edward VII, a distinction we still proudly feature on the labels today. Every day, whether notable or not, the philosophy of Joseph Perrier remains the same: fully seize the moment, follow
the truth and enjoy simple perfection, whilst encouraging others with a similar outlook. Our objective is not to increase the yields in so doing, rather to use the minimum necessary to improve the health and balance in the vineyards, always being careful to study and create a programme for each parcel individually. We feel that our champagne truly remains a hand-made product. Each bottle effectively passes through 10 pairs of hands in its’ production and this respects the ways of the past and continues the feeling that we are still making an artisanal product today.
Size. 75 · Abv. 13,5º cl
The true expression of the House style. Elegant, fresh, light, well-balanced with good length, this is the perfect celebration champagne. Aged: Average of 3 years age. On the nose the aromas are fine, delicate and complex, with notes of apple and pear. Fresh attack, lots of life, and is yet supple, round and most refreshing on the finish.

The fruit is from 15 different villages but based on the family vineyard holdings in the villages of Cumières, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil. Ageing: minimum 3 years. Intense and extensive aromatic spectrum. The freshness of the lemon and grapefruit zest, with delicate notes of passion fruits, is accompanied by subtle nuances of box, mentholated notes and hints of freshly cut hay. On the palate the wine is very well-balanced, concentrated in structure, revealing good acidity and a generous, full-flavoured fleshiness. The development of the aromas on the palate is characterised by a fruity freshness, which terminates in a long, lingering finish.
For Dourthe Nº1 red, the remarkable task of seeking out the finest terroirs is also undertaken in the extensive red Bordeaux vineyard to pinpoint exactly those areas where Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon have the best chance of reaching full maturity. Forging strong partnerships with growers guarantees optimal and consistent fruit quality. From tending the vine all the way through to the harvest, the growers work in close collaboration with the Dourthe winemakers. The finest batches of Dourthe Nº1 mature 12 months in new French oak barriques where the tannins from oak integrate harmoniously with those present in the wine, adding roundness, balance and aromatic complexity.
Dourthe rises to the new challenge of creating Bordeaux rosé that is primarily different: a distinctive style, which as a result of its freshness and complexity, is totally unique. Its colour should be pale pink and bright; its aromas should be fruity, fresh, subtle and elegant, backed by a lively structure, but lacking in sharpness. The grapes are selected from terroirs suited to optimal maturity. A specific and unique vinification unveils its richness: a phase of cold pre-maceration, lasting just short of 6 hours precedes fermentation so that the perfectly ripe and healthy berries bring the required concentration of colour and aromas. After a cool fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for 3 months to enhance the aromatic finesse of the wine.

Just after the First World War, Olivier’s grandfather, Joseph Leflaive was faced with the failure of his steel factory in Saint-Etienne. His investments in Burgundy were all he had left and he decided to enlarge his wine estate. It became a family-run operation covering some 35 hectares. His son, Joseph Régis, was in insurance and along with his brother Vincent, decided to take over the reins in 1953. The estate soon began producing top-flight wines, mainly due to the arrival of air conditioning in Puligny in the 1970s. This was a major step for winemakers in this village which sits two meters above the water table and as such, had no underground cellars. The philosophy of Olivier Leflaive is to
produce simply great wines. There are no secrets to this – everything starts in the vines with good grapes. Olivier, Franck and their team are lucky to have strong relationships with some of the best winegrowers on the Côte, people who grow their vines with care and attention. The work of the team reflects the company’s family spirit. A solid core of people have been part of this adventure for many years, which ensures a rigorous approach and constant quest for improvement. Olivier Leflaive’s vocation is not just about making good wine. It is also about bringing a human face to the world of wine and breathing fresh life into it.

Chardonnay
Wine of powerful and generous character. The nose has notes of lemon but also notes of butter and vanilla. The palate is fairly tensed and sharp. The wine is fat with maturity and fills the mouth with flavors. It needs time to be tasted in its peak. It may deserve to be placed in carafe two hours before.
A noble wine with exceptional purity and aromatic finesse, flowers of the vine, preserved citrus, grilled almond. The palate is elegant. A wine with a promising future.
Wine of great finesse, its bouquet is complex: mineral fragrances, pear, spices. The attack is fresh and mineral on the palate, structured with a fine length in the mouth. A wine of great class to savour within a few years.

Since 1825, the Faiveley family has always cultivated the vineyards with the greatest respect for its terroirs in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Its goal is to propose the very best wines that Burgundy can offer. They characterize high quality and unique diversity. Each bottle of Grand Cru or Premier Cru is the faithful reflection of these values. François Faiveley took over the domain at the age of 25. He was able to give it a new boost – using a precursor of the sorting table and carrying out cold macerations for example. At the same age as his father, Erwan Faiveley took over the domain in 2007, becoming the seventh generation. On his arrival, he renewed and reinforced his team and invested in the
winery and the vineyards. He brought new dynamics to the family business, while remaining faithful to his predecessors’ values. Wonderful tastings are in store for you with Faiveley wines, whether they are enjoyed young or after years in the cellar To create great Burgundies, Erwan Faiveley associates the principles of modern oenology with really traditional maturation, in French oak barrels, in 19th century vaulted cellars. From the arrival of the harvested grapes to bottling, nothing is left to chance. Each terroir and each vintage, benefits from special attention which makes the cuvées unique. Each bottle therefore becomes the faithful reflection of its terroir of origin.

This wine, which has a generous and complex nose, divulges rich aromas of roasting and spices. On the palate, it opens with ripe and silky tannins, before showing its strength and its beautiful structure.
A beautiful intense, deep ruby-red colour. The nose is very pleasant and complex with fiery and fruity aromas. This wine is powerful, elegant and classy on the palate, with tannins present but not intrusive. The finish is full of finesse and long-lasting.
A brilliant pale yellow colour. The attractive aromas of white and yellow fruits mix with light woody notes. On the palate, this wine meets up to the expectations of its aromas: it has a round and full attack before the vanillary and toasty tastes reveal themselves. Good long-lasting aromas. The finish is slightly acid.

Chardonnay
A limpid, beautiful dark ruby-red colour. The complex and very pleasant nose proposes an array of fruity and fiery scents. This wine is round and fruity on the palate. The blended and silky tannins give long-lasting aromas on the finish. This Grand Cru has a full and balanced structure, pointing to good cellaring potential.
This is a classic Chablis, with lemon and oyster shell aromas. Broad, supple and creamy, offering a gently saline oyster shell quality. This fine-grained wine would make a lovely introduction to Chablis for the uninitiated.
The Puligny-Montrachet, pale yellow with green tints, is fresh and tense on the palate. We rediscover the aromas of peach, exotic fruits, and fudge already scented on the nose. It is balanced out by a certain minerality and fresh acidity. The vanilla finish is enchanting .

TOP WINES OF THE RHÔNE VALLEY CÔTES DU RHÔNE RED Some of the highest acclaimed southern Rhône reds have higher proportions of Grenache in the blend. As bold as the wines can be, they’re rarely oaked. Flavors range from sweet candied raspberries to leather and bacon fat.
CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE One of the boldest age-worthy southern Rhône blends are made with no less than 13 different grapes. The dominant varieties include Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault.
RHÔNE ROSÉ & TAVEL ROSÉ
CÔTES DU RHÔNE WHITE
Rhône rosé bursts with wild strawberry and red currant flavors. The deeply colored rosés of Tavel are said to have been a favourite of the writer and man’s man, Ernest Hemingway.
Marsanne and Viognier are the champion grapes of Rhône White. Wines are often citrusy with notes of apple, beeswax, and granite-like minerals. Northern Rhône delivers the boldest whites with notes of almond, white peach, and orange blossom.
NORTHERN RHÔNE SYRAH
MUSCAT BEAUMES DE VENISE
The birthplace of Syrah offers rich and dense wines that typically have a meaty edge to them along with loads of black currant, licorice, plums, and olives. The finest wines can age for 20 years.
A rarity, Muscat Blanc goes into what the French call a VDN or “Vin doux Naturels” - a fortified dessert wine. Wines are rich with aromas of orchids, candied orange, honey, and tropical fruits.

Valpolicella offers hints of blueberry, blackberry, cherry and chocolate which emerge gradually as the wine breathes. The potent tannins, which give structure to this product, are in perfect symbiosis with the velvety aromas of sweet spices and jam which envelop the palate and excite the senses.
Subtle aromatic hints, that range from black cherry, blueberry to chocolate, anticipate the opulent expression of mature fruit that flows into the mouth with inadvertent persistence. Nuances of truffle, tobacco and new leather wrap around the finish.
Vigna Serè possesses immense opulence and density, with preeminent hints of plum, black cherry, raspberry, chocolate and coffee. A good level of sharpness supports the refined tannins that with their sweetness and elegance gift the drinker moments of intense emotion.

In 1962, 19 vine growers from San Marzano, whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish “Cantine San Marzano” Through the decades this coooperative has grown significantly, attracting over 1200 vine growers, using modern and technologically advanced plants and producing elegant wines without forgetting the obligation to the very old Apulian wine tradition. Nowadays the melding of time honoured tradition, passion and sensibility with contemporary techniques enables us to produce wines with distinctive varietal and regional characters, marvellously reflecting individual attention, seasonal variation and local terroir. We are in Apulia, in the heart of the acclaimed d.o.p. “Primitivo di Manduria”
area, a strip of land between two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic; countries and landscapes in the province of Taranto and Brindisi where vines and olive trees flourish side by side on a red soil surface. The vineyard’s soils and the Mediterranean terroir play a fundamental role in the production of high quality wines. Our region climate is extreme, the condition difficult since life stands the drought, the frost and the sirocco winds. But in the hands of our passionate winemakers even the fruits of our oldest bush vines become full-bodied and elegant wines, capable of considering ageing. Wines that can enrich the tasting experience beyond the most ambitious expectations.

The Allegrini family has played a leading role in the history of fumane and of valpolicella since the 16th century and has passed on the culture of wine-making from generation to generation. Love for the land has been the driving force behind the Allegrini family’s commitment to enhancing the potential of Valpolicella and its viticultural traditions. The far-sighted choices made by the company have made it one of the leading wine companies in Italy, and thus the new generation of wine-makers in Valpolicella look to Allegrini wines as an indisputable benchmark. Valpolicella, one of the most prestigious wine-making regions in Italy, has been dedicated to wine-making since ancient times, as the
etymology of its name suggests: “val polis cellae” means, in fact, “the valley of many cellars “. It is located in the eastern part of Veneto, between Verona and Lake Garda, with its boundary demarcated to the north by the Lessini mountains. In the Allegrini home, hospitality comes first as a duty, but above all as a joy. The company daily experiences the pleasure of welcoming the guests who come to visit their vineyards and wine cellar, who are anxious to get acquainted with, drink and understand their wine. Welcome guests in the warm and traditional backdrop of the barriques and casks, Allegrini’s friends will find an elegant atmosphere for their special occasions.

La Grola is the extraordinary result of the meeting of two great personalities: the hill of La Grola and the Valpolicella’s autochthonous grapes. The excellent exposure of the vineyards, which enjoy the sun’s warm rays and the cool breezes that come from nearby Lake Garda, allows the grapes to produce their very best. Careful, craftsman-like ageing in the cellar yields a red wine with great elegance, harmony and finesse that can evolve positively for over a decade.
On the top of the hill called La Grola lies a plateau of less than 3 hectares dazzling white in colour, due to its calcareous top soil, and planted exclusively with Corvina since the late 1970s. The premium quality viticultural techniques yield grapes with great personality and maturity. After over 4 years of ageing, the wine is still extraordinarily fresh and crisp with a full spectrum of aromas ranging from fruit to spices and officinal herbs.
The vineyard surrounds Villa della Torre, a splendid masterpiece of Renaissance architecture now owned by the family, and produces a full-bodied red wine that has an ageing potential of at least ten years. The blend is the historic combination of Corvina and Rondinella with the addition of a small quantity of Sangiovese.

The result of the Allegrini family’s expertise, a true classic of the appellation, this red wine embraces tradition, territory and the know-how of country ways. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta are left to air dry at least until December and are checked daily to ensure perfectly healthy grapes.
While Amarone aims for perfect craftsmanship and a full, pristine range of aromas, full rein is allowed to this category of wine to express all its natural exuberance. The nose is immediately almost bursting with fruit, followed by fresh floral notes and pepper. After prolonged ageing, the wine proffers more evolved nuances of fruit preserved in alcohol and aromatic herbs.
It was the realization of Giovanni Allegrini’s dream: he was the first to grasp the extraordinary potential of a vineyard that symbolizes the quintessential identity of an entire area. On the occasion of this anniversary, which encompasses such as important part of Allegrini’s history, the Company decided to commission Milo Manara, one of Italy’s best-loved ComicStrip artists, to interpret La Grola and the local legends that surround it. According to the ancient legend, it was on this amazing hill that Corvina Grapes borned, thanks to the miraculous intervention of a crow (“Grola” in Veronese dialect) that made the fortune of that vineyard.

Bolgheri has been nothing short of a dream come true: a dream of establishing roots in a world-famous area producing wines that capture the imagination of a cosmopolitan clientele. Our was, in reality, a journey undertaken in stages, where the exchange of ideas slowly gave way to sensations, curiosity, learning and a sense of wonder until, finally, a solid, concrete project emerged: Poggio al Tesoro. The exceptional value and quality of the area, together with our expertise and experience, has transformed Poggio al Tesoro into a reality: we produce wines with a distinctive personality, expressing
power and complexity as well as elegance and depth. After just a few years and a great deal of hard work, Poggio al Tesoro is now a thriving 70 hectare (173 acre) Estate in prime Bolgheri wine-making territory. When you arrive in Bolgheri and begin to move along its most famous roads, the celebrated cypress-lined boulevard, the shady and evocative Bolgherese road, you realize that this is not flat terrain but rather a continuous series of terraces, rises, and declivities which, from the hills to the east, slope gradually and sweetly towards the sea.

The winery is named after the Avignonesi family, the founders of the original estate. Constant research and development aimed at expressing the true character of the Montepulciano terroir has, over time, earned the winery a well-deserved place among the flagship producers of Tuscany. In 2009, Avignonesi was acquired by Virginie Saverys who has since introduced organic and biodynamic farming methods to craft distinct, genuine wines with an even stronger character, and has acquired additional vineyards and a state-of-the-art winemaking facility in the Montepulciano appellation. We believe that the life force of the earth and the
uniqueness of our terroir are at the heart of our brand. Avignonesi is reborn from the soil of our vineyards with each vintage in wines that mirror the subtle flavours of the site and the special traits of each year. Our wines express the richness and beauty of the Montepulciano territory. We respect the heritage of Montepulciano, where Sangiovese wines have been produced for centuries, and we wish to contribute to its future by being the finest representative of its heritage that we can be. We respect the innate character of each wine and seek to follow its natural evolutionary path from the soil to the cellar and - finally - to the bottle.

When in 1984 Rita and Virgilio purchased the property that was to become Tua Rita, the land and the buildings on it were only to be the setting for a life together lived in contact with nature, farming nature’s bounty. It was their overwhelming passion for making wine that changed those plans. The couple tended the original two hectares of vineyard with such scrupulous care that Tua Rita became one of Italy’s first successful producers of vins de garage. In barely a decade, the hectares under vine had risen to nine, at the start of the new millennium there were twenty and today Tua Rita farms some thirty hectares planted to vine.
Growth has been driven by Rita and Virgilio’s enduring enthusiasm and an ever-deepening awareness of the potential of this estate nestling in the area, between the Tirrenian Sea and the Colline Metallifere, known as Val di Cornia. Estate and cellar went from strength to strength, driven by Rita and Virgilio’s commitment. Meanwhile the winery’s image was flourishing under the skilful hand of Stefano Frascolla, husband of the owners’ daughter Simena, who herself became involved in managing the enterprise following the death of her father in 2010. The estate’s name is a simple inversion of Rita Tua’s given name and surname.

Our single-variety Merlot takes its name from a stream that runs near the estate. Redigaffi is a benchmark wine that has achieved cult status around the world. The 2000 vintage was the first wine from Italy to be awarded 100/100 by Robert Parker. Redigaffi features regularly in the catalogues of the world’s leading auctioneers, such as Christie’s and Sotheby’s, and is one of the few Italian wines included in the Liv-ex index.
Tua Rita’s single-variety Syrah triumphantly demonstrates just how much potential the grape has on the estate’s Suvereto terrain. A markedly Mediterranean character puts this Syrah among the variety’s most successful expressions in Italy, or indeed anywhere else.
A tribute to Justus, the patron saint of Val di Cornia’s capital, the town of Suvereto, and to Tua Rita’s first vineyard, which was planted at Notri. Giusto di Notri, a classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, is Tua Rita’s signature wine.

50% Sangiovese, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah
Obtained from a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon until the 2011 growing year, when it returned to its original Sangiovese-only format. All the grape’s ravishing sensory potential is gently coaxed out by the very special soil types and climate conditions on the Tua Rita estate. Perlato dell Bosco Rosso is Sangiovese at its entrancing best.
The entry-level wine in the Tua Rita catalogue is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate’s most recently planted plots. Rosso dei Notri offers an enthrallingly approachable introduction to the world of Tua Rita’s red wines.
Equal parts of Traminer, Riesling and Chardonnay
Equal parts of Trebbiano, Ansonica and Vermentino
A wine that started out as an experiment to explore the white winemaking potential of the Tua Rita vineyards with an original blend of Traminer, Riesling and Chardonnay. Each year, the market sees no more than 3,000 bottles of Lodano, the wine that marked Tua Rita’s debut in the world of white wine.
Tua Rita’s interpretation of the white wine varieties grown in the area since ancient times is obtained from a grape blend of Trebbiano, Ansonica and Vermentino.

Passionate about wine for over four decades. The four bodegas that comprise Alejandro Fernández’s wine legacy, and constitute Grupo Pesquera, share a passion for winemaking that has perfected over time. The strong bond to this great winemaker’s homeland is also reflected in the group emblem: the symbolic Archway and Tower of Pesquera de Duero, the characteristic label on his mythical Tinto Pesquera wines. Numerous awards
endorse our wines; awards reaped throughout our 40 years of experience in winemaking. It is, without doubt, a dream come true for Alejandro Fernández whose maxim was always to own a bodega and make fine wines. Today it could be said that reality has surpassed the dream and that Alejandro, his bodegas, and his wines have earned worldwide recognition and appreciation.

Always in evolution, an International Reference. In the early summer of 1890, La Rioja Alta, S.A. was founded by five families sharing a common passion for wine. It was the start of an ongoing quest for excellence that their descendants still pursue. Since then we have managed to extract the best from the marriage of our tradition in wine ageing, to state-of-the-art technology in grape fermentation. Our wines have become an international
reference for the finest Rioja wines. Quality wine will always be our great passion. The pursuit of excellence marks the path our founders showed us which today, 125 years later, is a constant. For this, it is essential to achieve a vertical integration and control of each and every phase that comprises our work - from the vineyard, during vinification and ageing, to the distribution and sales of our wines.

Ask for the name of a Rioja brand and many will answer: Viña Ardanza. A label that, in itself, stands as synonymous of a superb wine. With a great personality, it remains mythical from one great vintage to the next.
A wine with a singular and unique character which, renews with every vintage the renowned —and almost extinct— style that is typical of the wines made in the Haro (Rioja Alta) area. Today, Viña Arana continues to dazzle the world with its elegance, silkiness and mild acidity.

The Bodegas Faustino wines show the love for the land and the expertise of a family of winemakers with a tradition in winemaking for over 150 years. The love and respect for nature are two of the pillars on which is based the winery´s philosophy. In recent years, there have been incorporating new viticulture practices that respect the environment and make our vineyards increasingly sustainable. Among others, precision viticulture in order to analyze the evolution of different areas in the same plot and act accordingly, disc harrow (makes the grass that is removed from the vineyard to join it again to the earth and become compost, favoring the natural cycle), incorporation of alternative treatments for plant protection products (sexual confusion and alternative compounds).
The Faustino characters Faustino I - Nicolaes Van Bameeck was a Dutch cloth merchant who became related by marriage to one of the most relevant families of Amsterdam. His portrait and his wife were painted by Rembrandt in 1641. Faustino V - Christoph Willibald Gluck was a German opera composer who returned to opera its theatrical content, lost in the Baroque, he became director of the theater of the Court of Vienna. Faustino VII - Marten Pepijn was a famous portrait painter, teacher at The St. Luke of Antwerp and friend of Rubens.

The Egon Müller estate has been in the hands of the Müller family since 1797. In the Mosel’s steep, slate vineyards, the winemaking master Egon Müller makes breathtaking Rieslings. The estate owns 8.3 of the 28 hectares of the famous Scharzhofberg vineyard in Germany’s Mosel-SaarRuwer region. The family exploits their single-vineyard holding to the fullest, and consequently is ranked among the region’s top wine producers. These wines are taut and racy, with dazzling fruit; they’re severely mineral and have an endless nish. Egon Müller’s wines are all made using estate-grown fruit from two parcels: 8.3 hectares of Scharzhof and 4 hectares of Le Gallais. The Scharzhofberg, or Scharzhof Mountain, is among the
nest Riesling sites in Germany and is considered Grand Cru. As such, it is allowed to be labeled with its vineyard name, or “Einzellage”, rather than its village name. The Müller holdings here include a parcel of un-grafted vines that were planted in the 19th century. These wines deliver at the highest level of quality and are without question among the world’s great wines. They are fine, balanced, authentic, and enjoyable young as well as after many years of cellaring. The Müller family added to its estate holdings by purchasing Weingut “Le Gallais” in Wiltingen in 1954. Egon Müller also belongs to Primum Familiae Vini, (The First Families of Wine), a small group of elite, familyowned producers where he is the only German member.

Riesling
All Muller wines are Rieslings, but the Scharzhof is the property’s most accessible wine. The Scharzhof Riesling is made utilizing grapes from Muller’s Saarburg and Wawern vineyards, and from the Wiltinger Braunfels and Wiltinger Kupp vineyards. This wine is a sterling introduction to Riesling and to the Egon Muller range.
Scharzhofberg is one of the most famous vineyard sites in Germany, likely to have originally been planted by the Romans. Situated in Wiltingen, removed from the Saar in a side valley and facing south, its slopes are quite steep, with a 30–60% grade, and high, at 180-280 meters elevation. Formed from grey Devonian slate, the soils are very deep with no bedrock. This wine is always delicate, crisp and exquisite on the palate.
This wine displays stony minerality, hints of acacia and lilac, grilled exotic fruit, sweet stone fruits and bracing acidity all combined in perfect harmony. Due to tiny production and high demand, this wine very rare.
Spätlese means “late harvest” but at Egon Müller, the term is used for wines made from grapes of superior ripeness. Spätlese wines can carry more sugar without losing their balance. While they’re off-dry to semi-sweet when young, they reward cellaring with an incredible degree of complexity. The Scharzhofberger vineyard can develop into truly elegant wines that defy the categories of sweet and dry.

THE NORTHEAST
California wines have rich ripe fruit flavors and medium acidity. The coastal areas are cool enought for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
A slighty cooler region than California, producing red wines with higher acidity and ripe fruit flavors.
A cool climate region most known for its native American hybrid grapes that survive icy winters. Reds range from slightly sweet to dry and rustic. Whites are zesty.

Whisky Whisky or whiskey is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. Various grains (which may be malted) are used for different varieties, including barley, corn (maize), rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, generally made of charred white oak. Whisky is a strictly regulated spirit worldwide with many classes and types. The typical unifying characteristics of the different classes and types are the fermentation of grains, distillation, and aging in wooden barrels.

Gin Gin is a spirit which derives its predominant flavour from juniper berries. From its earliest beginnings in the Middle Ages, gin has evolved over the course of a millennium from a herbal medicine to an object of commerce in the spirits industry. Today, the gin category is one of the most popular and widely distributed range of spirits, and is represented by products of various origins, styles, and flavor profiles that all revolve around juniper as a common ingredient.

Vodka Vodka is a distilled beverage composed primarily of water and ethanol, sometimes with traces of impurities and flavorings. Traditionally, vodka is made by the distillation of fermented grains or potatoes, though some modern brands use other substances - such as fruits or sugar. Traditionally prepared vodkas had an alcoholic content of 40% by volume. It is commonly used in cocktails and mixed drinks, such as the Caesar, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver, Sex on the Beach, Moscow Mule, White Russian, Black Russian, vodka tonic, and in a vodka martini.

Rum Rum is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from sugarcane by products, such as molasses, or directly from sugarcane juice, by a process of fermentation and distillation. The distillate, a clear liquid, is then usually aged in oak barrels. Rum can be referred to in Spanish by descriptors such as Ron Viejo (old rum) and ron añejo (aged rum). Light Rums are commonly used in cocktails, whereas “golden” and “dark” rums were typically consumed individually “straight” or “neat” or used for cooking, but are now commonly consumed with mixers. Premium Rums are also available, made to be consumed either straight or iced.

Caviar Good caviar should above all be shinny, and have a light taste. The eggs, they should not be too hard and should not stick to each other. Prefer a teaspoon of Mother of Pearl (Nacre) that will not break the grains and do not risk oxidation. Foz Gourmet works in direct collaboration, with a very controlled and precise attention to details, in order to obtain exceptional quality from the producer until the delivery. The purity and power of a good vodka will provide an interesting counterpoint to the buttery and tasty notes of the caviar while providing a not so innocent freshness. Some also enjoy caviar accompanied with champagne or with dry white wines.

Oscietre
Oscietre (Acipenser Guldenstaedti and Acipenser Persicus)
The Oscietre caviar is elegant and bright. It is made from the egg of the sturgeon Acipenser Guldenstaedti which is native from the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Caspian Sea. Its anthracite grains, good size, burst in the mouth while the flavours are gaining size and reveal hints of hazelnut and butter, a beautiful length characterised by a fine balance between iodine structure, notes of dried fruit and marine flavours. This caviar comes from a sturgeon farm located in Uruguay, which developed a program of sturgeon, essential to obtain the label “Semi-Wild Caviar”.
