El Payador is a contemporary and fruit driven Argentinian Malbec, created in partnership with third generation Mendoza winemaker, Jorge Daniel Falasco. The wine is sourced from a single high-altitude vineyard at over 1200m above sea level and matured in seasoned French oak. The name El Payador refers to the payada – a competitive composing and singing of verses native to Argentina, usually accompanied by guitar.

A DARK AT HEART RUM AGED WITH FIVE SPICES: NUTMEG, CLOVE, CINNAMON, BLACK PEPPER AND MOLASSES.

Pinchgut is a dark at heart rum, aged with rich spices of cinnamon, spiced nutmeg and toffee vanilla. Matured in barrel for over 2 years, the palate showcases depth and richness, together with a smooth complexity of toasted vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon. Rich on the mid-palate with maple that is mouth-watering and lifted spice finish.

Of the many dark stories from the troubled time of 1798, none is more notorious than that of convict Francis Morgan, who was executed on Pinchgut Island and his skeleton then left to hang for four years. According to folklore, knowing his fate, Morgan told the hangman he was consoled by what would be his magnificent view of the harbour.
