Experience the most important contemporary art show in the United States. Art Basel Miami Beach is a vital source for art lovers worldwide, allowing them to discover new developments in contemporary art and experience rare museumcaliber work.
Bus departs promptly at 10 a.m. and returns at approximately 8 p.m. Participants should check in at the Dixon Education Building 15 minutes prior to departure.


Day trip to Archbold Biological Station, Venus, Florida

Palm Beach Modernism: An Architectural & Design Tour

This tour captures a period of glamour and stylistic design in Palm Beach by exploring the architectural styles of 1930s Moderne through 21st Century Modern. While much of the Island’s modern architectural heritage of this period has gone the way of the wrecking ball, the tour will highlight the rich trove that remains. Led by interior designer Kevin Byrne, ASID the tour will begin promptly in the King Library for a brief introduction to this resurging style trend and program overview. One of the highlights of the tour will be lunch overlooking the ocean at one of Palm Beach’s landmarked buildings, including an insider’s tour of this iconic space. Join us to experience the glamour of Palm Beach, from Deco to the Hi-Fi 50s and Jet-Set 60s through the turn of the 20th century.


Day trip to Miami’s Allapattah Art District
Friday, March 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. $195; includes transportation, tours, and lunch

Visit two vibrant new art spaces in Allapattah, Wynwood’s neighbor to the west. El Espacio 23 is the space for the collection of Jorge Pérez, the developer namesake of the Pérez Art Museum Miami. El Espacio houses over 100 artworks by 80 artists, including Ai Weiwei, Doris Salcedo, Alfredo Jaar, Yinka Shonibare, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and Firelei Baez. We will lunch and then visit the new Rubell Museum, one of the largest private contemporary art collections in North America, recently relocated to a former food processing complex.
