Blackhawk is an iron foundry located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León México and it is subsidiary of the Quimmco Group since 2003.
Blackhawk es una empresa fundidora de hierro, ubicada en Santa Catarina, NL que forma parte del Grupo Quimmco desde el año 2003.
For ten years, Blackhawk has defined it target market as the heavy truck, farm equipment, off highway machinery and industrial segments in North America. In order to be able to achieve a strong competitive position in those segments, Blackhawk based its business model on high flexibility and service.
Desde hace 10 años Blackhawk ha definido su mercado objetivo a los segmentos de camiones pesados, equipo agrícola, maquinaria pesada y aplicaciones industriales en Norteamérica; y para lograr una fuerte posición competitiva en esos segmentos Blackhawk ha basado su modelo de negocio en una alta flexibilidad y alto nivel de servicio.
The original facilities at Blackhawk had been modified several times to eliminate constraints and make the processes more flexible as well as the investments in the recent years had been focused toward flexibility and service.
Las instalaciones originales de Blackhawk han sido modificadas en varias ocasiones para eliminar restricciones y hacer los procesos más flexibles y las inversiones en los últimos años también han sido orientadas hacia la flexibilidad y el servicio.
Currently Blackhawk is able to produce castings between 2 and 400 kg in several grades of gray and ductile iron and also offers high flexibility in production volumes. Additionally Blackhawk has developed a supply chain focused on value added that allows Blackhawk to offer castings including painting, machining, heat treatment and some sub-assemblies.
Actualmente Blackhawk ofrece piezas desde 2 hasta 400 kg en diferentes grados de hierro gris y nodular y con una alta flexibilidad en los volúmenes de producción. Además de esto Blackhawk ha desarrollado una cadena de suministro hacia la integración de valor añadido que permite también ofrecer piezas con pintura, maquinado, tratamiento térmico y algunos submontajes.
Blackhawk currently employs 350 people and is ISO 9000 / ISO 16949 certified and was recognized as Metalcaster of the year 2009 by the American Foundry Society.
Blackhawk está certificada con ISO 9000 / ISO 16949 y fue reconocida como la Fundición del Año 2009 por la American Foundry Society.
