Patient Health Campaign New FBR programs FBR will launch an integrated PR and digital advertising campaign that psychographically targets our key audience: patients. The ad campaign will be primarily digital and will target patients. The focus of the PR campaign will be partnering with disease groups and hospitals, pitching to national and regional media targets and an integrated social media campaign. FBR

$60 billion is spent on pets
Animal Health Campaign New FBR programs Recognizing that Americans spend nearly $60 billion on their pets each year, FBR’s animal health campaign will target pet owners and highlight animal research breakthroughs that are helping our pets. This campaign is designed to teach the public that animal research saves animals, too.

Op-eds printed in major news outlets
2015-2017 Op-Ed Campaign New FBR programs FBR has launched a new media initiative in 2015 that has taken us from the opinion pages of The Wall Street Journal to USA Today and earned 134 syndicated reprints. Our goal is to target ‘the influencers’ -- top political and financial decision-makers -- to ensure their understanding and support of humane and responsible animal research. With recent events like the Beagle Freedom Project’s state-by-state initiative to pass legislation requiring research institutions to adopt out research animals and PETA’s aggressive targeting of companies that transport lab animals, it is now more important than ever for FBR to reach the country’s leaders.

2-3 minute videos
Video Shorts New FBR programs ‘Why animals are needed in research’
FBR will produce a series of 2-3 minute video vignettes that are integrated with our patient health and animal health campaigns. Our first video, released in June 2015, featured several of the country’s leading scientists and medical experts and highlighted why animal research is critical for medical progress and the advancement of both human and animal health.
