Project The purpose of this project is to create an area where different experiences can be provided, other than bringing a new bath to Finike. In this area designed with a complex logic, there are accommodation units as well as a bathhouse. It serves not only the locals but also tourists. Thus, it can be presented as a suggestion to the tourist problem in Finike. This area, which allows different levels to be experienced, has also added sea level to itself. It has become more noticeable with its location on the main road. The fact that the atmosphere is in the foreground has affected the design ideas. Inspired by the arches, domes and vaults, this complex connects the circulation nets and the different points.

Public Bathing/ Hamam Public baths originated from a communal need for cleanliness at a time when most people did not have access to private bathing facilities. The term "public" is not completely accurate, as some types of public baths are restricted depending on membership, gender, religious affiliation, or other reasons. As societies have changed, the need for public baths has reduced: dwellings now have their own private bathroom. Public baths have also become incorporated into the social system as meeting places.

3_Roman& Turkish Baths

As the title suggests, public bathing does not refer only to bathing. In ancient times public bathing included saunas, massages and relaxation therapies, comparable to today's spas.

Turkish Bath /Hamam Soğukluk: In this place, which is also called dressing room, you can have pleasant conversations after the bath, or you can spend peaceful times under its huge 26-meter dome. Ilıklık: After sweating in the temperature section, it is the area where the pouch is served. In the same section, there are toilets made with original Ottoman stones and Hell section.

4_Ayasofya Hamami

Sıcaklık: Consisting of navel stones, iwans and halvets, this area is ideal for sweating. The ambient temperature of the halvets, which can be considered as today's steam rooms, reaches up to 45 degrees

Finike, Antalya

If needed, there can be 1 or 2 coloumns on a page, but still the same dimensions (6cm width)

Finike is an old settlement named Phoinikos at the mouth of Aykırıçay (Arykandos) in the 5th century BC. For this reason, our district has many historical sites and natural beauties. Historical settlements such as Limyra and Ariykanda, Suluin Cave and 5 km long Gökbük Canyon are some of these beauties.

The front page should include the name of the project, the name of the student and a powerful image that explains the design project best within the dimensions 12,5cmx12,5cm. The title of the project should be Arial Bold 21pt. and should be located as it is shown on the front page. The name of the student should be Arial 12pt. and should be located just under the title.

While Finike District was a sub-district of Elmalı District until 1914, it became a district on this date.

5_map of Finike

There are areas of different functions experienced in the coastlineThe project area is located on the coastline.

Project Site

One reason for choosing the project area is the size of the area. The area that allows the project to operate as a complex has an important position for both the tourist and the locals.

8_plan of the project area

The project area is located on the coastline of Finike. This land on the coastal strip connected to the iron allows many heights to be experienced. This land at the end of the city offers different visual experiences. It has an interesting structure with different levels and a variety of plants.

The project, which was developed by taking inspiration from the Roman baths, has developed around a courtyard. The circulation network, which allows the functions to be located around the courtyard separately, provides various access to different points.

Settlement Areas placed around a courtyard have different functions. These functions can be examined in three areas as accommodation, saunas and baths. The complex created by the courtyard is surrounded by a circulation network. One purpose of this circulation network is to create a viewing terrace. Thus, experience is provided from different levels. The arches that show themselves throughout the complex were made to create a common language.

There are two circulation networks in the project. The first network is the network surrounding the complex. The second one is the network that creates various circulation networks in the complex. The circulation network located at different levels aims to improve the feeling of experience in the project.

Hamam

The hamam design, where the atmosphere is a very important factor, was made by taking inspiration from the domes. The bath area, which is formed by the doming of the domes of different sizes, is divided into the main dome as men and women.

Rooms

22_views from circulation path

The design of the rooms is inspired by arches and vaults. Different sizes of arches make up different spaces. Some areas are not used as closed spaces but used as open spaces. An openness relationship was attempted to be established. For example, there are open pools and cafes in open areas. This area, which is considered as a whole, has many different room types.
