Finike is a small town in the middle of KaĹ&#x; and Kemer, which is one of the most important tourism destinations of Antalya. It is a coastal city surrounded by Taurus Mountains.

The economic structure dominating Finike district and its surrounding is of agricultural character and the existing trade and industry is based on the agricultural structure. The biggest source of livelihood in the region is vegetable growing and citrus. Seasonality of agriculture and tourism in the region shows that tourism may be an additional source of income rather than an alternative source of income to agriculture. Finike's famous orange, known as the land of oranges in our country and in the world, came first in scientific research by the University of California worldwide. University of California researchers have investigated whether the orange grown in California is considered the world's best quality. At the end of the researches, it was found that the orange
grown in the beaches of Turuncova town of Finike is better than California orange. Finike has a lot of orchards - especially orange - and a greenhouses. But the region where the main greenhouses are concentrated is the Demre district next to Finike. The climate is Mediterranean seen, the winds of the north-south direction are very effective. This sometimes damages greenhouses. Agriculture is no longer sufficient for the Phoenician economy. Therefore, the desire of Finike people for tourism has increased. Since agriculture is very valuable, in addition to that, the municipality has efforts to develop tourism.

There are ancient cities in Finike. The Lycian road starts from Antalya and extends to Fethiye. Finike is one of the stops on this road.

We started the bath project by trying to understand the water. For this, in this workshop, we filled a drop of ink in a jar and recorded its spread in the water and tried to draw it simultaneously. Drawing this helped me to understand the spreading of the water, and I observed in some places without breaking from each other and thickened in some places and observed that it is actually a part of the whole. While reflecting what I learned from here to my project, some parts become narrow and turned into tepidarium, while others were more intense and created apodyterium and caldarÄąum.

Before starting the project, we held a Istanbul baths workshop. In this workshop, we tried to understand the program and sections of the bath by digitally producing the plan and section of one Istanbul bath. Then, using these bath drawings, we tried to combine it with the atmosphere in our dreams.
This collage is the reflection of the atmosphere that my dream park and bath will create when it is intertwined. Later, I used the intersection phases of the park and the bath, which I discovered while doing this collage, in my project.

HAMAM + PARK
When we combine the bath and the park as a program, they have a lot in common. Turkish bath is the most important place where people can come together and chat. The park serves the same purpose today. people come together in the parks and spend time. But it is also very
different in terms of privacy. The bath contains privacy where people are naked. In this project, I first separated the parts of the bath to design the bath and the park in different layers. these form intermediate spaces at different levels. It is used as a park in intermediate spaces.

The park, which continues on the edge of the stream, is used by the people of Finike. People do sports here, walk their dogs and ride bicycles. There are hospital, schools and mosques around this road. For students, this
place is used as a place where they can spend time with their friends and chat between them. They celebrate birthdays in their sitting areas. Or it is a resting area for a passerby. Since this creek is connected to the sea, people are fishing from the creek.

The floor level was the most important place for me as I tried to combine the park and the bath as a program. So, the first decision I made was to start designing the ground for maximum park. Separating the temperature and cold parts of the park from each other, I connected the two parts with a ramp where it can establish more connection to the park. I did this in two different ways in the men's and women's baths. I started the coldness with the entrance from two baths at the park level and then I tried to increase the use of the parking floor by placing the women's caldarium at the upper level and the men's caldarium at the lower level.

1. It is the part between the two entrances of the park. It is the part where there is water in relation to the bath.
2. It is the part remaining above the caldarium, while creating light chimneys on the lower floor, it turns into curvilinear topography on the park floor.
4. The intermediate phase between the caldarium and the park of the can be seen by the park. A coastal shape is formed in front of this area, and some of this area is harbour.

3. It is the part to the right of the main entrance. It is the section where steel rods are dense. Some rods contain bird feed for animals, while others only act as separators. There are seating areas in this part of the park.
