AMY CHEWNING

Amy Chewning is the owner and founder of ACE Earrings. She is also a wife, mother and two-time breast cancer survivor! It was after her trials with breast cancer that she discovered her passion for handcrafting beautiful leather earrings and her mission to inspire others by spreading joy. While she continues to create new styles of earrings, she has a new opportunity on the horizon. After taking a long break from being a registered nurse, Amy has decided that now is the time to return to nursing, where she hopes to use her own experience through cancer to better care for and encourage her patients. “I’ve learned what it’s like to fight for your life and be at the mercy of your medical team,” she said. “I want to serve others and treat them the way I always want to be treated – with compassion, dignity and respect.” You will find her at Clemmons Medical Center, where she enjoys taking care of patients on the medical surgical unit. You will also see her selling earrings at local boutiques, such as Hip Chics Boutique, Ellie Ray Boutique, Moco’s and Accent Prone. Amy feels incredibly blessed to share joy through her gift of creativity and also through her gift of compassionately caring for patients.
