MEMORABLE. HARMONIOUS. UNEXPECTED. Every landscape architecture firm will tell you they offer solutions, they provide sustainable design, they provide a sense of place. While it’s fair to say we do the same, it’s also true that we take it one step further. We look for the less obvious solution, the one that surprises, delights and draws every person who enters the space into an experience that touches all senses. It’s about design that interacts with the natural environment, the architecture, and the way in which light plays across the land. It’s vistas, small or large, at every turn, and a seamless merging of interior and exterior elements. At Forma Design Partners, there is no signature style, only a deep respect for our clients, their projects, and the culture, climate and resources of their site. We are committed to providing artistic, creative

outdoor spaces that linger in the minds of visitors long after they’ve left.

A pristine mountain bluff overlooking the Snowmass Club and Golf Course provided an amazing opportunity to craft a striking architectural statement. We were hired to develop a landscape design that complimented the bold jestures, while massaging the landform with weathered corten steel walls to embrace the angular forms. A challanging task itself, there was added neighborhood pressure to preserve as many of the native Gamble Oaks that screened the neighborhood from the road below and the valley beyond. We also collaborated on the adjacent neighbors property to develop a shared landscape buffer that assists with drainage, while creating privacy between the properties.
