Charity Update
Congratulations to 'Hidden Heroes' Karen Hesketh, Dave Manns and Jill Biles (above and right) who were nominated by their fellow volunteers to receive a stay at one of a selection of hotels across the UK courtesy of our partnership with volunteer-recognition charity Room to Reward.
Joe (above) from Room to Reward very kindly came to our recent volunteers 'Thank You' Coffee Morning (left) at Rick Stein in Sandbanks to surprise our winners. Stewart at Pondtek - who regularly maintains our courtyard pond - has started a new venture called Pondbox, which is a pond food subscription service. You can find it at Pondbox.co.uk and they provide a box every two months that includes fish food and pond advice and they have given this service to the hospice complete free, with tips that will be useful to the volunteers that look after our pond.
