Brittany Green (Duke Solinas, Luce) Brittany is a junior studying Theater and History. This is her 6th mainstage show at Marquette. She was last seen in Defying Gravity as Donna. She would like to thank God for the opportunities He gives her and her family and friends for being there for her. God bless Trayvon Martin. Alexis Hamburg (Attendant, Merchant 2, Messenger) Alexis is a sophomore Theatre Arts major and is thrilled to be in her third mainstage production on the Helfaer stage. She was last seen as Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors and was also in The Laramie Project last spring. She would like to thank Maureen for this wonderful opportunity as well as the cast and crew for being fantastic. She is also extremely grateful for the love and support of her family and friends. She hopes you all enjoy the show!!! Kelsey Lauren (Abbess, Courtesan) Kelsey is a senior Theatre Arts and Public Relations major at Marquette University. She was last seen on Marquette’s mainstage in her senior dance capstone Dancing Through the Decades of Musicals as the Director/Choreographer/Performer, Defying Gravity as Betty, If You Take a Mouse to School as Mom/Millie, The Beaux’ Stratagem as Mrs. Sullen, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Rona, and Censored on Final Approach as Elizabeth. She cannot thank Maureen enough for her patience and grace. She also would like to thank Kathryn, Kaitlyn, and Kristi for their constant support and assistance. Samantha Martinson (Luciana) Samantha is a senior at Marquette, double majoring in English and Education. This is her first mainstage production, and she is delighted to be on the Helfaer 4 Marquette University
stage! She has previously performed in the MUPS plays The Real Queen of Hearts Ain’t That Pretty and Boy Gets Girl, as well as performed in several student-directed scenes. Samantha is a proud member (of four years) and current Co-President of the Studio 013 Refugees, Marquette’s only improvisation ensemble on campus. She would like to thank her parents and sister, Jessica, for their constant support and love. She would also like to thank her friends for providing laughter and joy in her life. A special thanks to Maureen Kilmurry for her patience and compassion, the hardworking crew, and wonderful cast of Comedy of Errors for such an unforgettable experience! Armando Ronconi (Balthazar, Jailor) Armando is so excited to play the Officer and Balthazar in his first Shakespearian play, Comedy of Errors! He is a 2015 undergrad student with a Theatre Arts major and hopeful double minor in Dance and Film. You may have spotted Armando as Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors at the beginning of this season, as well as Dancing Through the Decades of Musicals as an ensemble dancer. He would like to thank the entire cast and crew for such a fun and wonderful experience. A special thank you to Kathryn, the stage manager, and of course Maureen, the director, for putting up with him! He hopes you enjoy the show! Doug Soder (Dromio of Ephesus, Dromio of Syracuse) Doug is a junior majoring in Secondary Education and Theatre Arts and minoring in English. He is excited to be back on the Helfaer stage with the challenge of playing the twin Dromios! Previous Marquette mainstage credits include Snail, A Year with Frog and Toad; Naomi/Boy, Sunday in the Park with George; and Francis Flute/Thisby, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Doug also appeared as Isaac in Windfall Theatre’s Nurture’s Wonders. Doug would like to thank Maureen Kilmurry for the numerous opportunities she has given him.
