She has previously designed The Tavern, Candy Cane Tales and Holiday Carols, Seussical, HONK!, and Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka. Thanks to Dustin for the opportunity, thanks to my fellow DIVAS for your love and support, and thanks to my family for putting up with all the time I am not home. Michael Chobanoff (Richard Marshall) Michael is happy to be on stage again at Waukesha Civic! He was last seen here in The Miser in 2007. Favorite roles include C.S. “Jack” Lewis in Shadowlands with Acacia Theatre, and Jake in Jake’s Women at Sunset Playhouse. He can also be seen in the Wisconsin Lottery Mega Millions commercial! Love and thanks to his gorgeous, amazing wife, Maureen! Jonathan Danner (Detective Goddard) Jonathan is thrilled to be back on stage! He last appeared in The Tavern, though you may have seen him helping with various other programs here at WCT. He wants to thank Dustin, Katie, and Ivan for all their hard work and patience. Enjoy the show! Katie Danner (Stage Manager) Katie has been working with WCT for the past seven years now and loves every minute of it. Love to Patrick, Roscoe, Jonathan, Oliver, and Ivan. She couldn’t do it without her boys. (Despite the fact that one is a teddy bear, one a moose, and two are cats…)

Katlin Drew (Vickie Reynolds) Although still new to the theatre community in Milwaukee, Katlin already has some wonderful memories and has made incredible friends. Past credits include Love, Sex and the IRS at Sunset Playhouse and V-Day Milwaukee’s production of The Vagina Monologues. Thanks to her family and friends for their continued love and support! Teresa Drews (Claire Marshall) This is Teresa’s first show with Waukesha Civic Theatre. She has performed at Fireside Dinner Theatre, Carte Blanche Studios, Shorewood Players, and other community theatre groups. Her favorite roles include Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret and Miss Hannigan in Annie. Teresa has directed at Modjeska Youth Theater, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, and Village Playhouse of Wauwatosa. Some of his favorite designs have included Sweet Charity and Dead Man Walking at Carroll as well as The Music Man and 42nd Street at WCT. He hopes you enjoy the show, and would like to thank his girlfriend and parents for their continued support in all his theatre endeavors. Anthony Mackie (Wig Master) Anthony started acting at age five. He attended Stone Cameren, Ruth Page Ballet Company in Chicago when he was 15. Anthony started a new career in Milwaukee where he was a hair stylist, director, and choreographer, and eventually a wigist for most of the theaters in the area.

John Pfannerstill (Detective Baxter) A Monty Python aficionado for 40 years, John is delighted whenever he gets to portray an Englishman, so participating in this show has been a dream come true. John lives in Waukesha with his wife Lori and together they love doting over their four wonderful grandchildren.

Debi Mumford (Assistant Stage Manager) Debi is very excited to be working with this talented cast and crew. She wishes to thank her family and friends for their never-ending support and encouragement. Enjoy the show!

D I R E C TO R ’ S N O T E S I love a good mystery. Good mysteries should keep you guessing, rather than making it clear who was at fault. They should not make it impossible to figure out, but leave you enough clues amongst the red herrings to be able to reasonably deduce “whodunit.” To complicate matters, add a healthy dose of love triangles, dead bodies, and a room full of people who have motives, and things really get out of control. My hope is that you have an enjoyable evening as you try to figure the mystery out alongside Mrs. Piper and Detective Baxter. As you do, keep in mind the wise words of Inspector Clouseau in the film A Shot in the Dark: “I believe everything and I believe nothing. I suspect everyone and I suspect no one.” Dustin J. SPOTLIGHT ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS This WCT season you have experienced the full range of human emotions, the comfort of blue grass gospel, the thrill of the mysterious, the adventure of romance, the awe of human miracles, and the heartthrob of separation, survival, and dreams unfulfilled. So how do we close a season such as this? With a good hearty laugh! At one time or another we have met someone who seems to know everything about everyone, and described them as a busybody. However you haven’t really met a busybody until you meet Mrs. Piper. Our final show, Busybody, is definitely a mystery but I guarantee you’ll laugh with every twist and turn of the investigation. Throughout this season many a patron has told me this is the best season ever. Now I’m asking you to make the 2012-2013 season even better by helping us fill every seat in the house. No review, no poster, no mailing, not even our outstanding website or new Calendar Season Brochure can do as good a job of promoting what we do as you who have experienced our great productions. As you leave tonight, pick-up several of the 2012-2013 Calendar Season Brochures to pass along to friends and tell them about the wonderful shows you saw this year. Oh…and make sure you hang that WCT Calendar where it will always remind you of all the great things you want to see at WCT. Jean A. Novy Board Director
