A stroll thru the vineyards Are you a true wine enthusiast? Do you want to know, from the beginning, how wines are made? We offer you the possibility of total immersion in wine making processes: from the vine to the bottle. We will get to know one of the last “urban vineyards” in Europe, situated 20 kilometres from Barcelona. We will walk among the vines, through our modernist winery – an authentic centennial jewel – and taste three wines. There are two visits. A visit to the vineyard where we will see the geology of the Alella, the traditional grape varieties of the area, the biological cycle of the vineyard and some of the vine growing techniques: cultivation, pruning, watering systems and harvest. After the pleasant stroll thru the vineyards we will visit the winery, the processes for making red and white wines, the maturing in barrels, and bottling. Locations: Alella wine Area (20 minutes from Barcelona) Participants: Groups from 4 to 100 people Duration: 3 hours Availability: Tuesdays to Saturdays at 09:00 for individuals, Tuesdays to Sundays for groups upon request Languages: English and Spanish.
