This is like coming home; you get what you order, the menu is broad and well described, and breakfasts are the specialty! Monday to Friday breakfast specials cannot be beaten on price. The Eighties is a fairly large, busy spot with a very extensive breakfast menu, everything you can dream about. The bennies are marvellous at breakfast time; the hot meals are consistently good; the
sandwiches are perfect. The best thing of all is how obliging they are about making little tweaks, whether for simple preferences or allergies. The Eighties has been around forever – and that is what the décor exactly looks like. But this is not a place you come for the ambiance. You come here for a generous helping of basic food, and it delivers reliably. The eggs benedict is terrific, and the Hollandaise has the right buttery-lemony taste; Eighties Scramble is a delicious classic. The menu covered all meals, fabulous coffee in comfortable mugs kept coming – great service, with conversation and smiles, and a huge selection of eggs benedicts – shrimp, sausage, tomato, ham, of course, a large portion of home fries, etc. The quality of service is outstanding. The owner of the restaurant takes incredible pride in what he does, as he should! A very friendly and welcoming establishment with quick service and reasonable prices.

Food is fresh; service is reasonably prompt; the wait staff is professional and pleasant. The food is, of course, “fast food,” but as far as fast food goes, it is better than a lot of what is out there. The restaurant’s breakfast menu is great, with many choices from cold
cereal, hot cereal to eggs, French toast, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausages, etc. Real food at fairly reasonable prices. Waitstaff who are friendly and helpful and keep your coffee/tea cups full and make sure your food is what you wanted and cooked properly. One of the famous breakfast items in this place is the Cheesesteak Hash, which is made up of sauteed spinach, and onions, red pepper, mushrooms, green onion, tender Canadian Certified Angus Beef, cheesy smash brown potatoes, and all these top-notch ingredients are topped with two poached eggs and Hollandaise. White Spot Lonsdale is a famous family-style restaurant. They have a wide variety of breakfast dishes on the menu, so it is a good place to come if your party cannot decide between burgers, sandwiches, pancakes, or something a little healthier. They also have an additional “featured” menu, which changes every few months. For kids, they have activity books and crayons and the “Pirate Pak” children’s menu, which is served in a cardboard pirate ship. So, It worth to visit at least once!

The coffee house commits to sustainability, less waste, free metal straws, organic/vegan options, the display and sale of local art, a small pantry in the back where you can buy small quantities of items, and there is a bin of containers you can use and/or bring in your empty ones.
One of the most recommended breakfast dishes in this place is zucchini noodles(zoodles), and it is so huge! Salad? Noodle? Both! It comes with pesto dressing, but there is a hint of vinegar, and very delicious. You will be surprised with a generous amount of hemp seeds too. The tea selection is vast, and they are all amazing. However, this place’s real star is the Le Meadow crepe; it is a must for any first-time visitor. The combination of the brie cheese, pear slices, and preserves are fantastic, but make sure you ask them to drizzle it with their organic maple syrup for some sweetness. You will not be disappointed. The service here is incredible; it is a small place, so if you come with a big party, there might be a wait for everyone to get their food right away, but that will not matter once you take your first bite of the food.

A little cafe on a side street near Lion’s Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, they do all the coffee and tea drinks, they make their own cookies and rolls and other munchies, and serve yummy and unique breakfasts. Whatever special requests you have, they cheerily fulfill. One of the most recommended breakfast plates to order in Echo Cafe is the Eggs, Salad, and Avocado, making a nice combo, and if your timing is exquisite, the cinnamon rolls will just be coming out of the oven. They also make a high tea — order in advance, and enjoy all the little tea sandwiches and sweet munchies. There is something so comforting about this place.
The coffee and espresso drinks are always on point, and it looks like all of their food is made in the kitchen, in the back. This cafe serves some of the best baked-goods in Vancouver. There are so many baked goods to choose from; it is impossible to resist the temptation for more. On top of that, the prices are reasonable with great service and a chic atmosphere to boot. However, a cafe is not a cafe unless it serves great coffee no matter the food or the decor, and this chic boutique cafe serves up some amazingly smooth coffee. This little gem does not disappoint, and I promise you will come back for more.

Needless to say, if you could not finish everything your waiter will offer you to give a nice doggy bag. The server is super friendly and checks to make sure all was good with your food. The updated, more modern decor is clean and bright, and it is obvious the owners care about their business and their patrons. They frequently support the local community with menu promotions. One of the favourite dishes in this restaurant, which returns the customers, again and again, is its French toast, which is three pieces of French bread dipped in cinnamon egg batter served with whipped cream, choice of glazed peaches, strawberry or blueberry topping. From standard breakfast fair through to desserts, you have to eat and get on the treadmill later! When you are out of your town, sometimes it is hard to find a reasonably good restaurant that still does not break the budget but be sure that Medley’s Grill is a hidden gem with reasonably priced dishes. The pick-up time will be mentioned in your confirmation email, and the pick-up procedures are pretty straightforward. If your order is not ready, you have to stand outside. If you do not know Delany’s Coffee House, you can easily miss it because it does not have a bright, colourful sign, unlike other businesses. It is “tucked away” in the back part of Lynn Valley Village, just on the pathway that leads to the bus stop and right next to the library. It is very nice that it has two entrances (one from the outside and one from a pathway that connects to the library). Without a doubt, Delany’s Coffee House serves one of the best breakfast dishes in North Vancouver. It has a real, local village vibe that is appreciated. Their coffee, roasted by JJ Bean, is awesome. The moment you walk into Delany’s Coffee House, a beautiful aroma of butter, sugar, and downright deliciousness pulls you further in; everything is presented beautifully. Their croissants are mouth-watering, so fluffy, light, yet heavy buttery, not greasy, which can be considered breakfast. Besides the pastries, customers can order some hot or cold beverages to have a complete breakfast like cappuccino, Mercury, Manic, Dark Horse, Cherry Bomb, etc. This coffee place provides a nice touch to the mall area, providing indoor seating and outdoor seating. Multiple areas chair to sit, many tables are available for eating, studying, or lounging. This place has a simple design; however, this place will win your heart on a super sunny day, it had lots of windows, and as the sun is shining inside, It makes a nice atmosphere to sit and have your tea and bathe in the sunshine through the windows.

The little hole in the wall breakfast joint that pleased the palate. The prices are great and portions- even better! It is a relaxed little joint where you can actually get a table and not feel like you are right on top of someone. Sweet Italian music is playing, there is a nice little shaded outdoor patio, and cartoons playing on the TV.
Everything on the breakfast menu is $14 or less, which is great for breakfast. They offer a decent variety of 3 egg omelets, eggs benedict, and other breakfast items (including a breakfast pita and breakfast burger). 14One of the most recommended breakfast orders from Daisy Sandwich is the Sweet and Spicy Candied Bacon & Avocado Benny, which is made up of two poached eggs, sweet and spicy candied bacon, avocado, swiss cheese on toasted English muffin, all topped with Hollandaise. The restaurant’s breakfast menu is wide enough to cover all tastes. There are some gluten-free options, which earn another bonus point from yours truly. Daisy Sandwiches is a rare gem in the North Vancouver area. Nestled away in a business park, this place is a great way to start your day and have a solid breakfast! The Mechanic Breakfast is top-notch and packed with goodies. This is definitely your place if you are looking for a quaint location with great food and good people!

Incredible fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced dishes, pastries that are also fresh and to die for. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing, the beautiful garden and outdoor seating area – you will love every detail about this place!
Lift Breakfast Bakery is one of the few shops that actually make proper espresso rather than just pressing a button. If you get drip coffee from them and sit in, they charge slightly, but you can refill as much as you want. They are always super busy with the neighbourhood crowds and the office buildings nearby. They are a tiny place (it is an old heritage building) so it is always a full house, even on a weekday. If it is nice out, sit down on their outdoor patio. They make a killer poached egg; maple bacon is fantastic. Make sure you ask for a jam with your toast, as it is just amazing. Easily some of the best-grilled cheese you ever had. They make their own bread, and their fluffy (and I DO mean fluffy) milk bread is perfect with the thin, nutty layer of cheese they get from a local supplier. The grilled cheese comes with their super smooth tomato soup, and together you have something like a comfort food heaven. Everyone working here has that North Van feel. Great service and gets really busy on the weekend. They are also licensed, which is a big bonus! It is worth every penny and every minute you may have to wait.

There are so many stores to peruse and so many dessert options to do. You can definitely spend a good half day here just walking around, so this is a major plus if you are a tourist. The cafe itself is a charming, sweet restaurant with a large menu that will not leave you wanting.
Most of the restaurant’s brunch menu consists of either sweet dishes like pancakes or French toast or savoury breakfast platters and benedicts and omelets. They also offer some sweet or savoury crepes. Generally, the menu is pretty robust, and you will appreciate the page dedicated to fruit, granola, and yogurt options. One of Cora’s recommended breakfast to order is the strawberry crepe with cream, HUGE if you order a regular. Cora’s is clean, and the food is good. The waitresses are very friendly, and the service is fast despite the restaurant (which is large) having an “out the door” waiting line. Cora’s is in the West End of North Vancouver, and the Robson location is a convenient “walk to.” It has “American” breakfast food in a location that has mostly Asian restaurants and coffee shops. Being on Robson means easy access to the number 5 bus-line that runs on Robson into the main shopping area and the terminal connected to the airport.

One of the most recommended breakfast dishes to order in BLVD Bistro is the Mean Green Benedict, which has two poached eggs, spinach, and kale on a fluffy potato bread pudding, doused in Hollandaise, topped with avocado slices. You will love the idea of the potato bread pudding as the base. It kept the meal very light, and the
flavours blended well. A beautifully plated dish with a refreshing side slaw is a nice start to the day. Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast is another recommended breakfast meal in this place, which is made up of five generous slices of French Toast that all caramelize and sitting on top of the cinnamon and vanilla custard sauce that looks like the childhood milk you have had at the bottom of the cereal bowl. They also have a vegan option that is not just a pancake or avocado toast. This combines many great vegetables like sauteed kale, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, potatoes, onions, sprouts, and seasoned tofu. Lots of variety and flavour, then it is topped with the perfect oozy egg that just has the golden yolk coat everything in a gleaming sheen. The addition of the miso tahini sauce gives it a nice savoury flavour that keeps it from boring. The service in BLVD Bistro is phenomenal. You will have a couple of different people check on your table, which is really convenient. Everyone here is so nice, and it is amazing how your server who takes your orders could memorize every single order you have.
