The recently restored estate boasts individually designed bedrooms, treatment rooms, two wedding venues, a working kitchen garden and £55 two restaurants to choose from. Coach House is ideal for relaxed dining, while Forge offers fine dining, and is styled with exposed brick walls, natural interiors and subtle lighting, complete with a roaring open fire and flickering candlelight. You’ll find unique ingredients on the menu, from woodland sorrel and wild garlic oils to estate nettles. Meat is sourced from local farming communities, including the owner’s brother who rears lamb in a neighbouring village. Seasonality, locality and sustainability lie at the heart of the menu, which changes daily to accommodate what’s foraged from the garden Open: Weds-Sat 7pm-late and woodlands that morning, and which meat is available from the farm’s butchers that same day. Diners can choose between the five-course set menu and the nine-course tasting menu.
