Situated near the market town of Okehampton and pretty village of Chagford, The Post Inn is within easy reach of glorious countryside. With a mix of locals and sightseers flowing through the doors, the menu caters for a wide variety of tastes. The large portions include pan-fried rib-eye steak with chips, Devon crab served with salad, and rich cottage pie with a cheesy mash topping as well as filled baguettes and jackets. Round off the week with a Sunday carvery, which boasts three choices of meats and a vegetarian option. Local ale, real ale and cider populate the drinks list, so whether calling in for a tipple, snack, or full-blown feast, The Post Inn is sure to have something that takes your fancy.
