It has excellent breathability along with total windproofness, offers excellent protection from rain, and the high levels of stretch allow improved fitting of the garments.
PIXEL MICROFLEECE A dual structure with a warm brushed fleece on one side and a textured knit on the other side, this fabric is ideal for insulating 2nd layer garments where a priority is placed on warmth and moisture management.
WINDSTOPPER® 4-WAY LIGHT A brand new fabric for Winter 2011, this 4-way stretch Windstopper® fabric is extremely lightweight and offers a stretchy, breathable outer shell to keep the wind from entering the garment. As the fabric is also waterproof, the garments offer ideal protection for intense aerobic activities in cool weather.
POLARTECH THERMAL PRO Polartec® Thermal Pro® fabrics are the most visually dynamic and technically advanced of the Polartec® insulation fabrics. Provides warmth without the weight and bulk of traditional insulating fabrics. Highly breathable to provide comfort in all activities; does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor , dries quickly to minimize heat loss.
WINDSTOPPER® 4-WAY MID Sometimes our full thermal Windstopper® 4way Warm is just too warm. This fabric's lightly brushed inner face is soft, has just enough loft to keep you warm, and is great at moving moisture away from the body. It is about 25% lighter in weight than our Windstopper 4way Warm, but still provides 100% wind protection with a water repellent external face.
AEROFLOW COMPRESS When speed matters, this is the answer. Lycra® Power for optimum muscle compression and support, and a dimpled surface structure for slippery aerodynamics.
ARCTIC STRETCH Ideal fabric for second layers worn during physical activity. Its stretch permits the creation of comfortable clothing. Although extremely lightweight, the fabric provides excellent warmth combined with maximum breathability and partial wind protection BI STRETCH Tightly knit to block the wind. Extremely tear resistant and stretchy in both directions. Soft against the skin.
CIRRUS MICRO A truly remarkable fabric that provides wind and rain protection with astonishing breathability, and only 35 grams per square meter! It’s not totally waterproof, but with its Teflon treatment most water simply runs off. It’s not totally windproof, but effectively stops all windchill while letting in enough air to keep you drier than comparable fabrics. This compromise makes it ideal for aerobic cycling in cool, windy or wet weather.
DYNAMIC Stretchy woven fabric. Provides good wind protection and excellent abrasion resistance. Lightly brushed on the inside to make the fabric warmer and softer. Keeps the body drier and ensures a feeling of freshness. Ideal for pants.
ESCHLER® “Ceramic printing” is a special innovation of the Swiss company Christian Eschler AG. It refers to a ceramic coating that gives the fabric extremely high abrasion resistance. It is used in parcticular to reinforce areas that are most likely to experience wear and chafing.
