here did the ideas for both Housos and Pizza come from? When I was a kid, I used to drive past this little pizza shop every Saturday night when I went to the Drive-in, and there were two guys in there watching a TV and they never looked busy; it looked like the world’s worst pizza shop. It always stuck with me, and I thought it would make a good TV show. And with Housos, it was more I just thought there were so many crazy bogans in Australia that we needed some bogan humour, and Housos was just an extension of that. You’ve integrated the two and turned it into a live show; what kind of experience can we expect from the show? These live shows are all about fun and having a great night out. It’s comedy that’s interactive - the audience gets involved, there are videos, stand up comedy songs. It’s a really fun, cool night. If you’re a fan of any of our shows, you’ll love it ‘cause it’s that sort of humour. We rarely have a night where some crazy outrageous thing doesn’t happen that you’ll never forget. Are you bringing the usual crew along, or do you have new actors for the live

writing or filming your shows? I don’t have a lot of spare time, but when I do I like to ride motorbikes, I like travelling, going to the movies, getting a little crazy on Tequila - probably all of that in one order or another! Tell us about your Guinness World Records? I still hold the longest pizza delivery record; I delivered a pizza from Spain to New Zealand. And the selfie world record, I beat that and then The Rock beat me; I held the record for about a month, and then he decided to beat me and I got stooged! What’s your favourite joke? All my favourite jokes are too rude to put in your publication, I’m afraid. Thanks very much. Interview with Paul Fenech.
