Kerrie decided to make the move to a retirement village after she no longer had anyone to help her with the gardening and other household chores. “I have been on my own for a while now and have a very bad back, so I thought I should start looking after myself; which led me to sell my home and make the move to a retirement village,” Ms Reeves said. “I don’t want my children to have the burden of looking after me, because they have their own families now, so it is great to have people here to help me whenever I need.” “The Oak Tree village is affordable and I really like my villa, as it is very comfortable and also lovely and cool in the warmer weather.” “I was attracted to the Oak Tree village’s secure grounds, as well
as its ongoing gardening and maintenance services.” “What I like the most about living at Oak Tree is that I don’t have to worry about anything, they take care of the lot, so all you need to look after is the inside of your home,” Ms Reeves said. “There is a lot of maintenance that they take care of, which means I can get up whenever I like, go wherever I like and do whatever I like, knowing that there is always someone here looking after my property. “It’s great not having to worry about the lawn and garden – the gardener even helped me plant some new flowers the other week.”
