August 2022

Our teachers are dedicated to the development and growth of students, and push them to learn everyday in the classroom. Our goal is continual annual growth and the meeting of the academic standards set. Students graduate being choice ready – meaning they are able to enter college, the military or our workforce – and most importantly, exemplify the fulfillment of Fargo Public Schools’ mission to educate and empower all students to succeed. We look forward to all of the success and achievements our students will have during the 2022-23 school year.

It is imperative that the physical locations of our schools continue to meet and exceed the needs of our students. We have a Long Range Facility Plan that intentionally sets a course for the future of our buildings and facilities. The 2022-23 school year will include the completion of the addition of the North High School track facility and beginning of the expansion of our Early Childhood Special Education program with an addition on to Hawthorne Elementary School. The District will also be finalizing our updated Strategic Plan this fall, which will renew the focus of our schools for the foreseeable future. Partially funded by a state grant, FPS will also be offering a limited prekindergarten program for 4 year-olds this fall at the Agassiz building.
