Favorite weekend getaway Last year, we visited Aberdeen, S.D., and went to Storybook Island - that was a lot of fun! I was surprised how much they had there, and it kept the kids busy for hours. My husband loves to hunt, so he had plenty of other things to do there as well!
We also love heading to any of the many lakes (typically up to Devils Lake unless we want to make a quicker trip) for some fun family fishing. We do this all year 'round. Fargo gets some wonderful concerts. We went to Bruno Mars this year and it was a lot of fun.
What's an ideal date night for you? Porter Creek is always nice - especially when it's nice out and you can enjoy their back patio.

Space Aliens is our family go-to: arcade games and good food. The kids also really enjoy Yunker Farm - I love how they have rooms and activities for all ages!
