Freedom Riders Academ y in The Acreage held a Family Fun Day on Saturday, March 9 to introduce children to the love of horses. Guests enjoyed pony rides, dressage and jumping demonstrations, grooming stations, a horse meet-and-greet and more. Danny & Ron’s Rescue Fundraiser Held In Wellington The second annual fundraiser for Danny & Ron’s Rescue, which aims to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned and abused animals, was held Saturday, March 2 at the home of Glen Senk and Keith Johnson in Wellington. Guests were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as they learned more about the charity’s
philanthropic endeavors. Among those in attendance were David and Sybil Yurman, Bryan Baldwin, Bruce Duchossois, Georgina Bloomberg, Missy Smith, Doug Smith, Jennifer Smith, Roger Smith and Nic Roldan. Senk is CEO of David Yurman, America’s renowned fine jewelry and timepiece designer.

Temple B’nai Jacob Collects Matzohs For Food Pantry Temple B’nai Jacob of Wellington has collected more than 100 boxes of matzoh for its “Matzoh Mitzvah� project. Volunteers, members, religious school families and community friends have teamed up and brought enough matzoh to help supply the food pantry of the Alpert Jewish Family and Children
