JULIO ARELLANO At 8 goals, Julio Arellano is one of the highest-rated American polo players. A lifelong player, Arellano has anchored Gillian Johnston’s Coca-Cola team for years. Now in his 40s, he has won the U.S. Open Polo Championship no less than three times and is known as a pressure player. His team won the Ylvisaker Cup at the International Polo Club Palm Beach last season, and Coca-Cola made it to the final match of the USPA Gold Cup before falling to Valiente. He also took part in the inaugural season of Gladiator Polo, the new arena polo series in Wellington.
