Discover the origins and evolution of the famed Florida Folk Festival, which turns 70 this year, and learn about the strides rock and roll took at the hands of superstar Florida electric guitarists and the struggles of Black musicians to play their soul-stirring music in Jim Crow South. You can find the popular “Heritage Kitchen” under a refreshed moniker, “A Taste of Florida,” and enjoy a variety of new sections, such as “Oral History” and “More Perfect Union.”
