YPI Mission

To provide a community for young professionals to guide the future of the fair industry through leadership development, mentoring, incentives, education and idea sharing with the IAFE

Convention is rolling upon us quickly!

The YPI Committee has some great things in store for our gathering in May in Orlando. Our Mix & Mingle event presented by YPI will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 7-10 pm. This year we will be doing Axe Throwing at Big Foot Axe Throwers, approximately 7 minutes from the Convention Hotel. We ask that all participants pre-register with your convention registration! Mix & Mingle is a fundraiser for the YPI Convention Scholarships and YPI Service Grants.

We will also be bringing back our annual Charity Drive to help a local charity in need. We are still working out some kinks with our charity and can’t wait to share it with you once it is all sorted out! We will have donation boxes, for cash donations and physical Items requested by the charity, around the convention floor. Keep an eye out for more information to come!

In addition to these two events, we would like to remind everyone to apply for the YPI Convention Scholarships & the YPI Service Grant. YPI Convention Scholarships are for young people 18-40 who are involved in their local Fair and have not attended a convention within the past two years. The scholarship covers full convention registration and a hotel room for 3 nights of the convention. Applications must be emailed or postmarked by April 1st! The YPI Service Grant awards $500 to the winning Service Grant Application. Applications must be emailed or postmarked by April 1st!
