The 72nd Annual Florida Federation of Fairs Convention and IAFE Zone 2 Meeting will be at the Caribe Royale Orlando at 8101 World Center Drive.
The Caribe Royale is an all-suite hotel, the standard one-bedroom suite has two queen-size beds and a connecting living room with a full-size sleeper sofa. *The Cancellation Policy is 3 days prior to the arrival date.* Check-in time starts at 4:00 pm for Suites and Villas. Check-out time is 11:00 am. *If your plans change and you will not be using your room, please notify Dan. There is always a waiting list.
The excitement starts at 9:00 on Wednesday morning when registration opens for the Giles Ellis Memorial event.
The Polk Sporting Clays is at the FFA Leadership Training & Event Center about 30 miles from the Caribe. Accommodations are available at the Center for the night before for $118 double. More information is at floridafairs.org. At Registrations.
Later in the evening, the YPI Mix N Mingle starts at 7:00 at the Big Foot Axe Throwers, 3262 Vineland Road, Kissimmee.
Let’s face it, at some point, you must have fantasized about throwing an axe. Well, you can’t ask for a better opportunity to materialize this wild dream. Bigfoot Axe Throwers offers an exquisite atmosphere and experience where you and your friends can dine (eat sumptuous pizza from the nearby pizzeria), drink, and throw axes at will. To boost your experience, we have ensured each lane has its own computerized scoring system. Bigfoot Axe Throwers is extremely proud to amp up the overall industry standard.
While YPI is sponsoring the event it is open to ALL ages. This is a fundraiser for YPI scholarships so your support is needed. Please sign up at floridafairs.org. At Registrations.
Hal Porter, Convention Program Chair, Advisor Rhonda Ward, and the committee have been working hard to streamline the program and make it easier to attend the educational events. Showcases will be plentiful and the Trade Show is nearly sold out. “We hope you will enjoy the convention. Fellowship, networking and education will be great fun in Orlando.”
