Madonna-Rama oMadonna’s birthday (08/16) is essentially a holiday within the gay community. This year Madge turns 55 (allegedly), and The Manor is honoring the “material girl” with their own Madonnathemed party, called “Madonna-Rama.” Not to be confused with Bananarama, Madonna-Rama will feature a video and music tribute to the queen of pop, with a guest DJ sed by Ed Bailey and special drag performances by Erika Norell and crew. In the Noche Latina room, celebrate Champagne Bordeaux’s birthday party with hostess Viva Mirage and DJ Larry Larr. $3 Iced teas, and as always, no cover. 10:30 p.m. The Manor. 2345 Wilton Dr, Wilton Manors, 33305.

Snow in Miami oIn a very confusing analogy, Variety states “Snowshow is to clowning what Cirque du Soleil is to circus.” Basically, Snowshow is a creation of Slava, one of the original clown pioneers of Cirque du Soleil. The production has been compared to a cross between Cirque du soleil and Blue Man Group, blending a whimsical atmosphere with comedy, music and snow. Yes, actual snow. This year’s production is a follow-up to last year’s sold-out performances in over 80 cities around the world including New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Rome, Hong Kong and more. See what The Times is calling an“unmissable” production that’s fun for all ages. After all, you’re never too old for the circus, right? Right? 7 p.m. Adrienne Arsht Center. 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, 33132.

OneRepublic oYou may remember OneRepublic from their 2007 single, “Apologize,” most likely the reremixed version from Timbaland that received major play on radio stations across the world. It seemed as if the world was Timbaland’s oyster in 2007, with singles “Give It to Me,” “The Way I Are” and “Apologize” all climbing the charts from his album “Shock Value.” OneRepublic’s single “Apologize” broke many records, including the biggest radio airplay in the history of Billboard’s North American Pop Music category, going on to reach number one in 16 different countries including Germany, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, Sweden (aka the kings and queens of pop music) and more. The band, now touring in support of their third studio album, “Native,” has been working on the LP, insisting that they refuse to rush it, saying it “has to literally be the best thing we’ve ever done.” While the sales of “Apologize” beg to differ, the album was received well by most critics, and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200, making it their first top 10 album ever. 7:30 p.m. Hard Rock. 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, 33314.
