Established in 1990, Lorena Canals designs and produces children's rugs that are both stylish and practical. Made from 100% cotton, these rugs are machinewashable—meeting the needs of modern lifestyles. Everything began when the founder asked, "Why can't we wash our kids' rugs at home?" With no suitable solution on the market, she set off to make her own. Today, Lorena Canals rugs are available in more than 30 countries. The brand prides itself on quality in every aspect of production, from the finest raw materials to socially responsible labor practices. SAKÛLA PROJECT
Lorena Canals provides schooling to children in Northern India In 2008, Lorena Canals started the SakĂťla Project. We built a nursery in Haryana (India) for children that were living in the streets (without protection and security) to receive one meal a day and schooling. We also started collaborating with the Baba Jodh Sachiyar Public School donating part of the profits from all of our products to finance the education of their students. With the purchase of one of our rugs you are helping a child attend school, not only to get an education, but also the opportunity to live a better life.
