Exterior beds and fireplaces allow guests to enjoy the luxurious appointments of each suite as well as the unique view. The desert begins at the edge of the bed, just beyond the outdoor fireplace. Opposite: Transitions are seamless between interior and the exterior landscapes. Within the compound, concrete walls are softened by fruit trees and small vistas across reflecting pools. Sand sage, salt bush, and cliff rose spill naturally down the cliffs to the path edges. At sundown, lanterns placed artfully along the walkways guide guests with soft candlelight. The exercise pavilion’s lit stairway becomes cubist sculpture. R
