Welcome to our 24/25 Diamond season!

I am thrilled and honoured to be writing my first public remarks as the Acting General Manager of Flato Markham Theatre. I feel I have grown up within the walls of this venue, starting my professional career here, more than 30 years ago, as a part time technician and now beginning my new role by launching our upcoming season. Let me first acknowledge Eric Lariviere for his dedication to this theatre and community over the past 15 years. As former Theatre Manager, Eric has left a positive and lasting impact on the cultural landscape of Markham.

As you explore these pages you will discover a season full of extraordinary presentations, exclusive premiers and amazing attractions that you, your family and friends will not want to miss. You will find performers from all different genres, some familiar and some new, who will bring their unique talents to our stage this season.

This would not be possible without our season partners, thank you all for your unwavering support of our programs, especially Flato Developments and Weins Auto Group.

I can’t wait to join you in the theatre this season as we welcome each of these amazing artists to our stage.
