ivayete göre, Kırşehir Beyi’nin oğlu çaresiz bir hastalığa tutulmuş; her yeri yaralarla dolmuş
Hekimler ne yaptıysa fayda etmemiş. Kırşehir Beyi’nin umudu kesilmiş, göz görmeyince gönül katlanır diyerek oğlunu götürüp bir dağa bırakmalarını emretmiş. Efsane bu ya, emir yerine getirilmiş. Çocuk Kırşehir’e 15 km uzaklıktaki Emirburnu Dağı’nın eteklerine, kurtlar kuşlar parçalasın da bu illetten ölerek kurtulsun diye bırakılmış. Çocuk yapayalnız ölümü beklerken, hastalıklı ve her yeri irin içerisinde bir kurt görmüş. Kurt, sürüne sürüne dağın eteğindeki bataklığa girmiş, iyice çamura bulanmış sonra da çıkmış. Bu böylece iki gün sürmüş. Derken iyileşmiş bir kurt olarak çıkmış bataklıktan. Kurdu izleyen çocuk bir keramet olduğunu düşünüp sürüne sürüne bataklığa girmiş, suyundan içmiş. Daha sonra iyileşerek ayağa kalkmış, yürümüş ve baba ocağına geri dönmüş. Çocuğu görenler gözlerine inanamamışlar. Çocuk olan biteni anlatmış. Kırşehir Beyi de bataklığı kaplıca haline getirerek, üzerine bir kubbe, yanına da bir mescit yaptırmış. İşte bizim suyumuz bu rivayeti doğrular nitelikte dolmaktadır havuzlarımıza. umour has it that the son of Kırşehir Master became sick of a desperate disease, filled with wounds all over. Efforts made by the doctors did not help. Master of Kırşehir desponded and ordered him to be taken and left to a mountain by saying heart endures when eyes are not able to see it. The myth was that the order was fulfilled and child was left Emirburnu Mountain by 15 km away from Kırşehir in order to escape from the clutches of the illness by dying and being bait for birds and wolves. While the child was waiting for the death alone by himself he saw a diseased wolf with a purulent body. Wolf creeped into swamp at the foot of the mountain, covered with mud and came out again which continued for two days. Just then, after two days wolf came out from the swamp as a livingly, recovered wolf. Child following the behaviour of the wolf thought about a prophecy and he also puddled and drank its water. In a day or two he stood up and walked again. Returned back to his family home.
Those who saw the child could not believe their eyes. Child told all what had happened. It is said that due to what the child told Master of Kırşehir made the swamp a thermal spring with a dome at top and a small mosque beside it.
