For the first time in history, the Hockey World Cup is coming to Belgium. In 2026, Belgium and the Netherlands will the honour to be the hosts of the World Cup. Half of the matches will be held in the brand-new Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre and the other half in Amsterdam.
Our national pride, the Red Lions and Red Panthers, will play a maximum of matches on their home ground, and each location gets to organise one final. For Belgian hockey fans this is the chance to watch top international players and our national heroes live.
