Sheriff Jim Manfre: It has been a distinct honor and privilege to work for the Flagler County Sherriff’s office for the last 29 years and to be part of protecting the great people of this community. I have learned a tremendous amount throughout the years as I have worked my way up to oversee each part of this agency. I will proudly take all of that knowledge and experience with me. The men and women who put their lives on the line day in and day out in this agency are amongst the finest group of people and I have nothing but respect and admiration for each and every one of them. One is fortunate when they can come to work each and every day and after several years still find enjoyment and challenges within their profession and that has been me. It is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to retire from the Flagler County Sherriff’s office effective Friday March 8, 2013. I wish nothing but success for this agency moving forward and in the future. Best regards,
