«What's New Zetor Re-Launches Major Series of Utility Tractors in North America Zetor North America, Inc. recently announced the re-launch of its Major Series of value-priced utility tractors in the U.S. and Canada. Initially, the new Major will be available in an 80-horsepower, four-wheel-drive cab version, with 60 horsepower, 70-horsepower, two-wheel drive and cabriolet (open station) models to be added later. “From 1960 to 2006, the Major line of tractors from Zetor set the standard for rugged, reliable and affordable utility tractors worldwide,” noted Gary Bogart, general manager of Zetor North America. “Our new Major models build on that tradition with simplicity of design, unsurpassed reliability, outstanding fuel economy and minimal maintenance requirements.” Along with its heavy-duty frame, the Major features a rugged, reliable and easy-to-service 4-cylinder Zetor engine free from the complex electronics and computer controls of other tractors in its class. In addition, the Major’s engine offers a torque rise of more than 35%, reducing the need for frequent downshifting. Adding to its ease of operation is the Major’s 12-speed forward/12-speed reverse synchro-shuttle gearbox and userfriendly hydraulic system. With a lift capacity of more than 5,500 pounds, the Major ranks as one of the most powerful tractors in its class. According to Bogart, the Major’s roomy cabin combines convenience and comfort with ergonomically designed controls, excellent all-around visibility and optional air conditioning. And, like all Zetor tractors, the Major is backed by a limited 5-year power train warranty. “The new Major 80 is the first of several new product introductions slated by Zetor over the next 18 months,” added Bogart. “Together, these new tractors will give our dealers in North America a broader product line to meet the specific needs of today’s value-conscious professional farmers.

2013 Axial-Flow Combine Cab Gets a Facelift in 2013 Updated cab will be available on all six models of Axial-Flow combines Operators are going to like this new cab – it has more legroom and even foot pegs to rest your legs in different positions during the day. The new control layout has a nice feel to it, along with the new propulsion handle controls. All the headliner controls and the radio have been regrouped on the right-hand side. This leaves room on the left-hand headliner side for a cooling/warming compartment (so when the air conditioner is running, cold air can enter the compartment and cool your drinks!).

The hood/bonnet has a design with an attractive front with rounded headlights

The hood latch is conveniently located in the front center.
