Chelmsford Race Course boasts one of only five fully floodlit all-weather tracks in the UK. Short-listed for an architectural award in 2016, the Champagne flute-like structure is symbolic of the level of events and fixtures that run there throughout the year.

Whilst hosting world famous musicians at V Festival placed Chelmsford on the map, their festival scene has broadened its reach to encompasses Fling Festival with its comedy, cabaret, music and burlesque performances, the Summer Beer & Cider Festival, Dixie Fields Festival and the award-winning 3foot People Festival, the UK’s largest festival for pre-schoolers.
