Character Bound
Here’s How
Help shape great future citizens. Simple to implement and effective in developing strong character traits in youth. The Character Bound program delivers on what its title proclaims “Helping Children Be Character Bound!”
Works: Character Bound is designed so that: Students receive new Character Bound lessons each year. All grades study the same character classification of traits each year. In Year 1 the entire school learns about: Kindness. Grades 1-3 receive the lower level Kindness lessons; grades 4-6 receive the upper level Kindness lessons. In Year 2, the entire school learns Integrity. In Year 3, everyone learns Citizenship. This same pattern is repeated every three years, so teachers only teach three modules. Each program module is a one-month program (preferably at the start of a school year or semester) highlighting one character trait per week.

After 3 years the above rotation is repeated. Outcomes: Everyone is on the same page. Students receive fresh Character Bound lessons each year. Note: Character Bound may also be used from Kindergarten to Grade 5.
