ounded in 2015 Lucy Bradshaw Jewellery creates timeless pieces in sterling silver adding a twist of colour. All pieces are hand made with a pain staking attention to detail and quality to ensure they will last for years to come. Since its launch Lucy Bradshaw Jewellery has gone from strength to strength with a thriving online business in the UK and worldwide. The brand also has a loyal customer base that travel far and wide to visit the many shows where Lucy exhibits. Beginning by making jewellery in her spare room Lucy now employs 8 people and has just opened her first office and showroom in her home town of Arundel. Her jewellery is also stocked in fashion, lifestyle and jewellery boutiques in the UK. Her business has won several awards including the Theo Pahitis Small Business Sunday Award, the Jaqueline Gold OBE #WOW award and her collections have been featured in Vogue, Tatler and Elle magazines. Inspired by her travels around the world Lucy collected bracelets from each place she visited. “I know you have pictures and memories but when you buy a bracelet with sentimental value, you get this great feeling for all that you love”. Energised by her travels she came back home and started to design her own pieces. However, it was 10 years before Lucy launched the family run business. Working in fashion and retail since the age of 16 she admits that at first she didn’t want to take the risk and quit her job”. A strong factor that propelled her forward was her son. “I wanted to spend quality time with him and achieve a work life balance. We now get to go on so many adventures that inspire future collections”. This includes the My Shining Star collection designed after falling in love with the stars they saw in Iceland. So is she glad she took the leap of faith? “Yes” she smiles “There have been ups and downs but it has definitely been worth it”. All Lucy’s collections can be viewed on-line, including her latest ‘feather’ collection which is proving incredibly popular. The designs from the collections can also be customised offering a bespoke service. “People will come to me and ask for a particular size, charm or a mix of designs to make something special and unique to them”.
