The Town of Delaware consists of the hamlets of Callicoon, Hortonville, Kenoza Lake and Kohlertown. We’re is a diversified area ranging from flat valleys with pristine views of the Delaware River, to rolling hills offering panoramic vistas. Delaware features many amenities including a range of dining, shopping, the Villa Roma Resort and access to the Delaware River. The Scenic Byway Route 97 passes through the hamlet of Callicoon. The people of the Town of Delaware are what make the town unique. The human spirit and level of caring and concern people have for each other, their neighborhood and their community is extraordinary. There is a strong volunteer
base in the fire department, Business Association, Kiwanis, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. The Delaware Youth Center is a community space that offers educational programming and recreational activities for all ages throughout the year. It also houses a year round farmers market that moves indoors from the Callicoon Creek with the change of season.

Callicoon hosts several signature events including the annual Tractor Parade, the Callicoon Country Fair, an 5K in Summer, the Art Walk in Autumn and Dickens on the Delaware in December.
