Christian Fischbacher indoor/outdoor fabrics boast an especially high level of lightfastness achieved by using a special yarn dyeing technology which allows for the use of upholstery and curtain fabrics even in places with very high light-exposure levels, such as gardens, balconies, conservatories or other particularly bright rooms.

Most Christian Fischbacher indoor/outdoor fabrics are also resistant to sea water and chlorinated water, which makes them suitable for use by pools or on boats. They are treated with a special finish to make them stain-resistant, durable and easy to clean.

Christian Fischbacher indoor/outdoor fabrics are generally made from solution-dyed yarn. This means that the yarn is fully dyed throughout, not just on the outside. This full dyeing guarantees long-lasting light resistance, which means that the fabric cannot bleach. (The only exception are the prints, which are printed with light-fast dyes on white fabric).

The latest developments by Christian Fischbacher in indoor/outdoor fabrics go one step further:

• The ARGENTARIO collection consists of six matching upholstery fabrics made from flame-retardant and 100% recyclable polypropylene fibres. They can be washed using mild detergent at temperatures up to 30°. They are fast-drying, crease-resistant, heatregulating, breathable, allergen-free and repel both dirt and odours. The fabrics are suitable for use in the healthcare, commercial, private and nautical sectors and the hotel, catering and spa industries.

• The velvet BENU TALENT FR is made mostly (70%) from recycled PET bottles. The fabric is flame-retardant, chlorinated and sea water resistant, has extremely high abrasion rates and is highly sound- absorptive, which also makes it suitable for indoor acoustic solutions.

Christian Fischbacher indoor/outdoor fabrics are suitable for both public and private areas, for solutions where especially durable and lightfast textiles are needed.

The small geometric pattern of LAGOON results from the vibrant combination of a different coloured warp and weft. The solution-dyed yarns used for the indoor/outdoor upholstery fabrics feel soft and natural. The fabric is easycare and can be laundered in a conventional washing machine. The fabric is hypoallergenic. It is extremely lightfast, boasts high abrasion rates, is resistant to chlorine and salt water, dirt-repellent and lint-free. All of which makes the fabric ideal for indoor and outdoor upholstery solutions. LAGOON meets the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard.

LAKE 14675

Strands of yarn consisting of several colours – in some cases contrasting – are collected together in bundles and woven into the fabric LAKE. A voluminous bouclé yarn creates a three-dimensional surface structure. Available in six colourways, LAKE is perfectly coordinated with LAGOON. The solution-dyed yarns used for the indoor/ outdoor upholstery fabrics feel soft and natural. The fabric is easy-care and can be laundered in a conventional washing machine. The fabric is hypoallergenic. It is extremely lightfast, boasts high abrasion rates, is resistant to chlorine and salt water, dirt-repellent and lint-free. All of which makes the fabric ideal for indoor and outdoor upholstery solutions. LAGOON meets the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard.

The hand-painted design POOL combines refreshing, harmonious new colour combinations with complex layers of graphical shapes and batik structures. The design spans the full width of the fabric with a semi-staggered repeat and is available in a terracotta/blue colourway and a subtle, natural earthy colourway. POOL can be used for curtains or as an upholstery fabric. Made from 100% acrylic, it is extremely lightfast and finished with a Teflon coating to repel water and dirt.

BENU TALENT FR 14619

BENU TALENT FR is a recycled velvet derived from postconsumer PET bottles. The fabric is permanently flameretardant due to an additive that is an integral part of the yarn used in its production. Due to its high lightfastness, mold and mildew resistance and other qualities, BENU TALENT FR also works as a great outdoor fabric. In order to produce recycled polyester yarn, discarded PET plastic bottles are collected, cleaned, ground into small pieces and then melted down before being spun into highquality monofilament yarns. The use of recycled polyester yarn makes sense not only because of the self-evident meaningfulness of recycling a petroleum-based material, but also because the production of BENU recycled polyester yarn requires about 90% less energy and 60% less water than the production of regular polyester. BENU fabrics serve as an important contribution to the protection of our environment.

Sonnen-Klar is woven of solution-dyed yarn. Its extremely high light fastness means no colour-fading even after intensive exposure to UV rays. Sonnen-Tag is a transparent curtain fabric, which is a novelty among outdoor textiles. It is characterized by a very high level of UV resistance and light fastness, which permits the use of the fabric outdoor as well. Special spinning and weaving techniques produce soft, cotton-like texture of the fabric.

Available in fourteen summery colours, the plain SUN BATH fabric can be used for curtains or upholstery. As it is made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic, it is suitable for outdoor use. It is easy-care, water-repellent and resistant to both UV rays and fading. SUN BATH can be combined with products from the SUNRISE and SUNSET ranges.
