Scholarships & Financial Aid Scholarships

Financial Aid

Each year, Acadia awards more than $3 million in scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes to new and returning students.

To ensure all qualified applicants to Acadia have access to our university, we also offer need-based financial aid each year to students demonstrating financial need.

Acadia University has many scholarship opportunities available to our incoming undergraduate students. Scholarships cover a wide scope of academic pursuits, musical and athletic talents as well as community service and research activities. To learn more about the opportunities for you, use the link provided. http:// financialaid.acadiau.ca Acadia Education student Caleb Hill is the winner of the IODE Nova Scotia Annie G. Murray Memorial Scholarship.

Guide to First Year

The University has a limited amount of money available each year to be awarded to deserving students in the form of bursaries or loans. There are also a number of loans and external resources that can be explored for students who demonstrate financial need. The money has been provided by individuals and organizations specifically to provide financial assistance to need-based students who are performing satisfactorily in an academic program as full-time undergraduates.
