The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre (PAC) is located in downtown St. Catharines, Ontario at the corner of St. Paul and Carlisle Streets on the shared traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Neutral Peoples and many other Indigenous People from across Turtle Island. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. We offer our sincere gratitude and respect to the original and continued stewards of this land and are reminded that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous Peoples.

We also acknowledge Indigenous, Black, other Racialized Communities and 2SLGBTQQIA+ People who have been marginalized for centuries and more – and our collective responsibility to take action for a better world free from oppression, discrimination and racism.

Welcome to our new season!

I believe that it’s important to lead by example and to lead boldly. That’s why I am a member of the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre and The Film House, as are many of our team here at the PAC. Being a member means that we are contributing to a stronger and more resilient community-centric arts centre. Yes, it means that you can purchase tickets earlier and at a discounted price plus additional perks, but your membership revenue is also a crucial component of our financial reality. The more members we have the more you help to keep our ticket prices lower than those of commercial venues, many of which showcase similar artists. The more affordable our tickets are, the more people can experience the joy of a favourite musical artist, the thrill of discovering a new one, and the excitement of an act they never expected to see. Sharing Dance Older Adults is an accessible dance program which aims to support overall physical, emotional and social wellbeing through dance engagement as well as build and develop skill and confidence in dance movement for older adults with varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities. Maggie Forgeron is the on-site facilitator for Sharing Dance Older Adults. Maggie is a local dance artist and teacher, movement researcher and Expressive Arts Therapist.

The imPACt performances are offered during daytime hours with a guaranteed low ticket price of $10 +HST. However the PAC recognizes that even the $10 +HST may still be out of reach for many in the Niagara region. Chorus Niagara is an inclusive and welcoming community of people from diverse backgrounds, identities, and professions who share a passion for choral singing. Our family of choirs includes Chorus Niagara, our 100-voice mixed adult ensemble, and Chorus Niagara Children's Choir for children ages 6 - 16, each dedicated to vocal and artistic excellence. We also have programs fostering music education for youth through our Side-By-Side High School Chorale, the Robert Cooper Choral Scholars program for emerging singers, the Associate Conductor position and the Theresa Pothier Vocal Scholarship. Led by Artistic Director Robert Cooper, one of Canada's most influential choral conductors, our singers range from the ages of 6 - 96 and come from across the Niagara region.
