The property is zoned RU – Rural Area under Brisbane City Council’s City Plan.

The property also falls under the Rochedale Urban Community Local Plan.

The Rochedale Urban Community Plan was gazetted on 28 September 2007 and came into effect on 1 October 2007. The area which includes the subject property shows that the subject property is designated as a Business Park.

In December 2012 Brisbane City Council proposed an amendment to the RUCLP and if applied will change the current Business Park zoning to Future Industry which would widen the permitted use to include Medium Impact Industry.
