he MC20, marking the Trident's return to its supercar roots and combining sportiness with luxury, now approaches its racing soul with the Notte edition – an exclusive series of 50 units worldwide. Its design is inspired by the mystical and intense power of darkness. A roaring creature, aesthetically captivating and enhancing the already extraordinary performance of the Nettuno V6 engine. Drawing inspiration from the fascinating world of motorsports, the Maserati Fuoriserie team collaborated with Andrea Bertolini, Maserati's chief test driver and former GT1 World Champion with the Trident, to develop the body of the MC20 Notte. Its exterior transitions from a glossy black hue to a magnetic matte "nero essenza," ready to shine in the darkness thanks to Bertolini's track predator "Midas touch." Details such as the Trident, side logos, and Maserati signature transform from silver to matte white gold, reviving the glorious memories of the brand in motorsports.

FIRST CLASS: Hello Charlize, thank you for being with us today. Let's start by talking about South Africa, your home country. What are your favorite places? CHARLIZE THERON: South Africa is an incredibly diverse country, but if I had to choose, I would say that Cape Town holds a special place in my heart. It's a breathtaking city with a vibrant cultural scene, beautiful beaches, and, of course, Table Mountain dominating the skyline. It's a place I truly cherish. F.C: You grew up in South Africa during a complex period in its history. Can you share some memories of your youth there? CHARLIZE THERON: Absolutely. I grew up in Benoni, a small town near Johannesburg. My childhood was marked by the beauty of the country, but also by the challenges of apartheid. It was a tough time, but my mother always encouraged me to stay strong and believe in a better future. These experiences shaped my perspective on life and strengthened my determination. F.C: South Africa is rich in culture and traditions. Is there something specific you particularly love about South African culture? CHARLIZE THERON: The cultural diversity of South Africa is incredible. I really appreciate the richness of its traditions, languages, and music. South African cuisine is also something very special to me. Outdoor braais (barbecues) with good food and company are an important part of our culture. There's something magical about how food brings people together. F.C: Charlize, as an ambassador for South Africa, have you had the opportunity to go on safaris in the country's nature reserves? If so, could you share a memorable experience with us? CHARLIZE THERON: Absolutely. Safaris in South Africa are truly exceptional. The diversity of wildlife and the beauty of the landscapes are simply unparalleled. I've been fortunate to go on several safaris, and each experience has been unique. There's something magical about seeing these majestic animals in their natural habitat.

F I R S T C L A S S S U P E R S TA R

F.C: Do you have a national park or reserve that you would particularly recommend to people wanting to experience an authentic safari in South Africa? CHARLIZE THERON: There are so many incredible choices, but Kruger National Park remains one of the most iconic. Its immense size, ecological diversity, and the opportunity to see the Big Five make it a must-visit destination. However, there are also smaller reserves that offer equally exceptional experiences, like Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, where the proximity to wildlife is truly remarkable. F.C: How do you think sustainable tourism can play a role in wildlife conservation in South Africa? CHARLIZE THERON: Sustainable tourism is essential for wildlife preservation. By promoting responsible practices and raising awareness among visitors about the importance of protecting the environment, we can contribute to the sustainability of ecosystems. Reserves and national parks often rely on tourism for their funding, and it's crucial that this is done in an environmentally conscious and respectful manner to ensure the long-term conservation of flora and fauna. F.C: Is there a message you would like to convey about South Africa, something you want the world to know? CHARLIZE THERON: Absolutely. I think South Africa is an example of resilience and transformation. We have overcome significant challenges to become a united nation. There is so much beauty, strength, and creativity in this country. I encourage everyone to explore its wonders, learn from its complex history, and celebrate its diversity. South Africa has a lot to offer the world, and I'm proud to have been born there.

The quiet, smooth gait of the vehicles deliver the highest quality wildlife sightings and include eight comfortable bucket seats, individually set at the optimal recline of 11 degrees, USB ports, and heated seats. Their unobtrusive nature facilitates the most silent approach by vehicle, resulting in unparalleled wildlife experiences. Onboard, bird books, Swarovski and Leica binoculars, and a professional level camera fitted with a telephoto lens are provided for guests’ enjoyment while out on a game drive.

EMPOWERING TOURISM Cheetah Plains built and continues to support the Lezagwa Utah Crèche, a local early childhood development centre in the neighbouring community which provides employment, education and community upliftment. As part of a community waste management initiative, the lodge waste is divided at source and collected bi-weekly by a local operative that makes a living by reusing, recycling and upcycling materials. A holistic approach to responsible tourism that only further ensures the longevity of operations and sustainable offering. BUSH WALKS For the most immersive safari experience, guests are invited to embark on guided, interpretive bush walks. Accompanied by an expert field guide and tracker, the opportunity to explore certain parts of the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve on foot, is one not to be missed. Experiencing a guided bush walk grants an even deeper connection for guests to immerse themselves in nature where the ecosystem is deeply felt. The durations of walks are easily customised to guest requirements, taking the number of guests, fitness levels, ages, weather conditions, and the preferred game drive schedules into account.

The safari villas can also specifically cater to Kosher Jewish guests and Halaal clients with options available that suit individual requirements. WELLNESS ON SAFARI In the heart of the wild, each villa boasts not only the marvel of an outdoor pool, seamlessly merging with the natural world, but also the privilege of a trained personal masseuse dedicated to touch and beauty therapy. Guests can indulge in a world where opulent relaxation meets untamed beauty as multiple tailored treatments are available to guests within the sanctuary of their private suite. Ideal for one to find solace and renewal amidst the breathtaking natural scenery. CHEETAH PLAINS TO LAUNCH PRIVATE ART GALLERY AND DEBUT NEW ART COLLECTION Innovating the safari experience while celebrating Africa’s prominent contemporary artists, Cheetah Plains will launch a private art gallery and debut a new collection of contemporary art in partnership with Goodman Gallery in January 2024. Leading the curation and installation, Goodman Gallery is an international contemporary art gallery with locations in Johannesburg, Cape Town, London, and New York, participating in Art Basel for over 40 years. This collaboration provides guests with the exclusive opportunity to acquire artwork on display or speak with experts to consider a wider range of works from leading African and international artists available for purchase with glove delivery service. The Cheetah Plains Art Gallery will house rotating exhibitions to showcase both pre-eminent and emerging contemporary artists changing the narrative of Africa through their own stories. Guests will now have the exclusive opportunity to embark on a private art tour of the curated pieces in their private villas and a walking tour of the bespoke Art Collection found throughout Cheetah Plains.

S A FA R I I N S O U T H A F R I CA

A rotating presentation of new and historically significant work from the 70s to the present is hung across all three villas and is a collection of hanging art, mixed media, sculptures, and freestanding pieces. Significant South African artists from the late 20th century are on view, including David Koloane and Sam Nhlengethwa who reflect on city life in Johannesburg. Emerging and rising international voices such as ruby onyinyechi amanze, Misheck Masamvu and Marsi van de Heuvel are also on show. The flora and fauna of the area are reflected in the art, offering a direct connection to wildlife and an intimate reading of the symbolic use of elements from the natural world. This can be seen in work by William Kentridge, South Africa’s most globally recognisable artist, as well as Walter Oltmann and David Goldblatt’s thematic explorations consider identity politics, colonial and postcolonial histories, and landscapes as both beautiful and witnesses to human intervention. DIAMOND BUYING IN THE BUSH As one of the world’s most remote private showrooms for diamonds, Cheetah Plains has created a one-of-a-kind shopping experience with access to top-quality ethical diamonds, as well as their very own Signature Diamond Collection, created by Shari van Niekerk. As is the experience in the wild, her collection is bold, delicate, and evokes the extraordinary, featuring neckpieces, bangles, bracelets, and earrings specially manufactured for Cheetah Plains. Guests have the opportunity to indulge in a one-on-one consultation with a South African qualified New York GIA gemologist and jewellery designer. The diamonds selected are part of a special collection of uniquely cut and GIA-certified loose stones, which are designed into custom pieces for international delivery. THE SUPERYACHT VICTORIOUS SUPERYACHT HOLDINGS PRESENTS VICTORIOUS, AN 85-METER (279 FEET) AKYACHT, THROUGH A ONE-OF-A-KIND SHARED OWNERSHIP PROGRAM

T

he program is unique in that owners reserve time per cabin, creating the world's most exclusive private club environment. Co-ownership unlocks the superyacht lifestyle and its benefits without the commitment, hassles, and expenses of full ownership.

YA C H T I N G

At the Monaco Yacht Show, Superyacht Holdings announced a revolutionary and unprecedented program in the yachting industry, allowing owners to enjoy the superyacht lifestyle and its benefits without the commitment, hassles, and expenses of full ownership. The industry's first "By the Stateroom" program distributes the ownership costs of the award-winning 110 million euros superyacht among fewer than 60 owners. The total cost for renting Victorious, after taxes, tips, and provisioning, is approximately 1.25 million euros per week. Superyacht Holdings expands the demographic of superyacht clients by reducing the cost of usage to just 60,000 euros per week for its owners.

YA C H T I N G

It is not a timeshare; each ownership unit carries equity that can be sold at any time. Owners enjoy flexible usage and can reserve on any available date within the annual itinerary. They can use their points to invite friends and book multiple cabins simultaneously.

YA C H T I N G

YA C H T I N G

Sailing aboard Victorious is akin to staying in a luxury hotel, but with increased exclusivity, as everyone on board is either an owner or a direct guest of the owner.

YA C H T I N G

The shared ownership program offers as much or as little interaction with other owners as desired and provides a significant networking opportunity. The purchase price per unit is 3 million euros, while the annual operating expenses per unit amount to 300,000 euros.

YA C H T I N G

Each unit grants 10,000 points per year, allowing an owner to book an average of 5 weeks on board per year.

YA C H T I N G

The annual operating expenses include premium meals, beverages, all amenities, onshore staff, yacht crew, fuel, maintenance, management, insurance, port fees, and a reserve fund. The Victorious is an impressive 85-meter (279 feet) AKYACHT built in 2021. Its interiors are designed by H2 Yacht Design with a crew-to-guest ratio exceeding 1:1.

It features 12 cabins, a 200 m2 (2,150 square feet) Ocean Lounge with a beach club, a heated pool, a steam room, a massage room, a gym, a beauty salon, as well as two folding balconies midship.

Additionally, it boasts 12 dining spaces, 6 bars, an indoor pool measuring 2.5m by 2.3m (18 feet by 7.5 feet), covering an area of 13m2 (135 square feet) with a counter-current system and water jets.

YA C H T I N G

YA C H T I N G

It can be filled with both seawater and freshwater, equipped with filtration and heating elements. Additionally, it features 2 Jacuzzis, 1 lounge with a fireplace, a wine cellar, and a humidor, 1 piano lounge, 1 cinema room, 1 helicopter pad, 2 tenders, and a range of water toys.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING Premier Therapy Solutions, a wellness organization founded by Dr. Lisa Corsa, will enhance the onboard experience for Superyacht Holdings owners by providing wellness programs specifically tailored to them.

With a successful track record of working with The World, Dr. Corsa's globally recognized expertise and her programs will provide owners with a unique opportunity to enhance their well-being on board.

YA C H T I N G

Superyacht Holdings has partnered with Vikand, a global health expert, and will offer its guests their customized OneHealth solution, providing peace of mind and a personalized healthcare experience tailored to individual needs. Full ownership price for the Victorious: $135 million.

EVOLUTION IN STYLE, COMFORT, AND SPACE The Falcon 10X features a cabin section larger than some regional commercial jets, opening up new layout possibilities. The 10X cabin measures 2.03 meters in height and 2.77 meters in width. It is nearly 20 cm wider and 5 cm taller than the widest and tallest business jet flying today. What to do with all this space? The real question is what can't you do?

Instead of four cabin zones of equal length, you can intelligently configure your cabin with different zone lengths to create fully customized interiors. For example, you can create an expanded dining/conference area, a dedicated entertainment zone with a large-screen monitor, a private cabin with a fixed queen-size bed (with space to walk around), or a master suite with a standing shower.

It is the latest, largest, and most powerful version in the Pearl series, providing over 18,000 pounds of thrust. It gives the 10X the ability to take off from shorter runways and climb quickly above air traffic and turbulence. Moreover, it burns kerosene much cleaner for more efficient operation and reduced emissions

THE EXPANSIVE WORLD OF THE FALCON 10X With its range of 13,900 km, the Falcon 10X seamlessly connects all major international business destinations without the need for layovers. FERRARI SP-8

THE ROADSTER DERIVED FROM THE F8 SPIDER, THE LATEST ONE-OF-A-KIND MODEL IN THE WORLD

F

errari has unveiled the latest addition to its One-Off series, the Ferrari SP-8. As part of the brand's Special Projects program and designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre led by Flavio Manzoni, it is a rear mid-engine V8 based on the F8 Spider, inheriting its configuration, chassis, and engine.

FIRST CLASS

The SP-8 one-off joins the revered ranks of the most exclusive segment in the Ferrari lineup—unique cars crafted to individual specifications. The car's name celebrates its 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, one of the most acclaimed powertrains in history and a four-time consecutive winner of the prestigious Engine of the Year (IEOTY) award. Since the client who ordered the SP-8 is from Taiwan, the number 8 holds additional significance as it is considered extremely lucky in Chinese

culture, traditionally portending success, good fortune, and personal achievement. The most distinctive feature of the SP-8 is its roofless design, making it a purebred two-seater roadster in every aspect, emphasizing its sporty character and the instantly exhilarating visual and open-air driving experience it provides.

FIRST CLASS

This solution required a thorough refinement of its aerodynamics through a combination of CFD simulations, wind tunnel testing, and track tests to ensure a level of acoustic comfort and wind sensation comparable to the car that inspired it. The primary theme of the car's stylization revolves around how its volumes intersect and merge with each other: the unpainted carbon fiber front section wraps around the tail, creating a two-tone effect that establishes a powerful contrast in terms of color and materials.

The removal of the retractable hardtop allowed designers to radically reshape the entire rear section, giving it a full volume with a taut beltline. The car's volume is divided into two parts that are connected by a functional matte black central area incorporating side air intakes with separate ducts for the intercoolers and engine. The upper part of this strip integrates an opening for the engine compartment with longitudinal elements that reference the characteristic side stripes of past Ferraris.

Dominating the front of the car is an imposing single-piece molded aluminum grille, made from a 3D-printed mold, capturing attention. The grille features the same stripe pattern, this time in a vertical motion, with a progressively widening spacing in plan view towards the sides to better channel airflow to the two front radiators. The angle of these elements has been optimized through close collaboration between the Ferrari Styling Centre and the aerodynamics team, spending months fine-tuning the car using CFD simulations.

FIRST CLASS

Other areas of the SP-8 that have been redesigned compared to the original car include the headlights, which feature special masks and lenses, the rear lights derived from those of the Roma with specific lenses, the windshield, the exhaust tips, which received the same treatment as those on the 296 GTB, and specially designed wheels in a dedicated color (matte Grigio NART). These five-spoke directional wheels are exclusive to this particular car and offer a modern interpretation of the classic rims used on Ferrari sports prototypes as well as the legendary F40. A clever and integral part of their overall aesthetics lies in their highly sculpted sections and large openings designed to lighten them.

Inside the car, a significant modification has been made to the central console to accommodate the F1 gearbox controls, a feature present in the Ferrari lineup since the launch of the SF90 Stradale. This required the adaptation of the now-iconic gear lever for this specific application.

The interior finish is complemented by seats featuring laser-engraved navy blue Alcantara details, paired with a gradient-effect fabric, and specific twill fabric floor mats with an iridescent effect. The matte color Argento Micalizzato, created specifically for the SP-8, brilliantly complements the carbon fiber section of the car, which has an equally specific color and finish (shiny iridescent blue stone). Even the Blu Scuro Stellato color used to connect the two parts of the body has been specially developed.

FIRST CLASS

The SP-8 will be on display at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from November 16, 2023, until March 2024. SPECIAL PROJECTS The Special Projects program aims to create unique Ferraris, known as 'One-Offs,' characterized by an exclusive design tailored to the client's requirements, making them the owner of a truly one-of-a-kind model. Each project originates from an idea proposed by the client and is developed in close collaboration with a team of designers from the Ferrari Styling Centre.

Once the proportions and shapes of the car are defined, detailed plans and a full-scale model are produced before the manufacturing process of the new One-Off begins. The entire process typically takes about two years, during which the client is closely involved in evaluating the design and verification phases. The result? A unique Ferrari proudly displaying the Prancing Horse logo and crafted to the same standards of excellence that characterize all cars from Maranello. WWW.FERRARI.COM
