When a Bus is Not a Bus Recently, an accident initially reported as overturned bus, had firefighters concerned about a mass casualty incident. The reported bus was a smaller Mercedes bus that was on the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 25.9 northbound when it went into a 200 foot slide before coming to a rest on its side. - Fire News photo by Robert Macom
Tools Ready to Go But Not Needed The volunteer fire companies of Bargaintown and Cardiff were dispatched for their hydraulic tools on August 8, 2013, for a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Mill Road. Bargaintown Chief Eugene Sharpe was notified the person in the car had self extricated, as he responded.
